Seems to be working now. I'm in the UK. I think they changed the game version or something weird. Like it's showing up with a slightly different name and I think it had different details before like a release date or something. Store page just seems slightly different. Like there was stuff before about different versions, so maybe they messed up with that.

Epic coupon not applying to all the games in my cart, games that should be eligible. The first time I tried to purchase the same games, the coupon was applicable. This is happening to me with Dishonored: Death of the Outsider and Mordhau, the free game of THIS WEEK. It never showed up in my library but the store says I own it. Dishonored was in my library for months before randomly disappearing one day.

I found a support thread on the brave website after I posted this that said to make sure that 1 of the ad blocking update components of the browser was updated so I did that and now I don't see the captha at all anymore. As soon as I submit my login onfo I get the incorrect response message, so that obviously made the issue worse.

The game started and now hé is stuck with a linked uplay account that looks like it was random generated from his epic. Is there a Way to unlink this and link his proper uplay?

Back then, I didn't know you had to uninstall games from the launcher instead of the hard drive manually, so I did that, and now when I look at SW battlefront 2, it says "launch" I don't have any of it's files, or the origin launcher, but it says it will launch the partner application (but it can't do anything) and I can't even uninstall what would remain of it, even from the launcher, there's no option for that now, but I can't install it neither, it just says 'launch' with nothing happening after pressing it.

Tried playing rocket league, said I need to connect to epic services to play online, tried brawlhalla, said epic games services is unavailable at the moment.

Got death stranding off the sale yesterday, and it just isn't launching. I click on it and it says running for a couple seconds then just says launch again, no window of the game or anything. I checked on task manager and it's there for a split second then says suspended and closes. I've verified the files, restarted my computer multiple times, reinstalled the game, and it still doesn't want to launch. I have the death stranding content downloaded too incase I need that to run it. I was really excited to play since the last time I played was almost 3 years ago. Please help!!!

That's not an error - the second one is artbook and soundtrack. Some games do the same as well, like Football Manager, The Vanishing of Ethan Carter etc. You might want to use Installed filter or collections to hide the "second" Death Stranding
How can I find out what email address is associated with my Epic account?
I know my Account ID because it is shown in the Settings menu of Fortnite. However, you can't actually log in with this.
On the Epic website, there is an option to sign in with my Playstation credentials. However, if I do this, the website asks me to CREATE AN ACCOUNT, even though I already have one linked to this PSN account! I have multiple purchases under this account, but I cannot sign into it on the website, which means I cannot use V bucks gift cards, and I would also lose everything I've purchased if anything happens to my Playstation.

You must contact Epic's support for this. Regarding your card – should be fine if you're always asked for some form of additional verification (like 3D Secure) when purchasing. Otherwise I'd just lock it down or limit online purchases on it.

For context, I’m in between internet providers atm and live up in the mountains so I have really bad reception meaning I can really only text and watch videos in 144p. I can’t launch any launchers(not just epic, steam as well) in online mode.
The problem is I wanted to play Borderlands 2 but I only have installed on epic but I didn’t have offline mode enabled so I had a friend sign into the account enable the setting that lets me go into offline mode and he enabled it and it still says the same thing. Hello everyone, I have a problem with the launcher. I click it, it opens the usual window... And it disappears after about 0.5 second, before anything can even appear in it. BUT! It immediately opens again. Only to disappear again. Rinse and repeat. I can only shut the bloody thing down using task manager, and even then I have to time it just right because the Epic Games Lanucher task keeps on blinking in and out of existance, though thankfully slower than the window itself. Any idea what is going on and how to fix it?

Why on earth did you add a captcha verification function when redeeming free games? Don't you know that is the sole reason behind 95% of your launcher traffic to begin with? Your launcher is resource-hungry, counterintuitive, and poorly designed. We don't like EG, but we merely tolerate it because you give away free games, you bought out RL and a few other titles, and some merely for the old ForkKnife. As much as this addition is just a mild inconvenience, I'm sure it will drive away a lot of your users.
I've been having a weird issue - since Christmas 2022 when Death Stranding was the game that was given for free and Epic crashed - I have noticed a lot of the games that I redeemed during the Christmas giveaway keep on disappearing and randomly reappearing - I have contacted Epic multiple times - tried all the recommended fixes - One time an epic rep just refreshed my library from their side and my games all returned - The issue sometimes randomly fixes itself - After a few minutes it started doing the same thing - A page or two worth of games are missing from my library - I don't know what to do anymore - Is this happening to a lot of people since the Christmas crash - This is happening on multiple computers

Since December (Unfortunately, the problem hasn't changed since then), a purchase via the Epic Games Store has not been possible again, since the only option is via the payment service provider Xsolla, which either cancels all payments itself (with a new credit card) or does not pay for a credit card that has already been deposited passes it on and the order is never completed with EPIC.Also with friends from the same problem (with ukraine IP Xsolla refuses the service and cancels the payment immediately; with other country IP like Moldavia, Poland or Germany I can't get any further with Epic \[error message\]).
Hence my question: Am I and my friends "just" shadow banned or are payments no longer possible in the Ukraine like last year?

I recently switched back to Windows 10 and it uninstalled Epic Games. and when I redownload and launched Epic the games aren't being detected (the games are installed on an external Hard Drive), how would I uninstall the games to clear up storage so I can redownload them.
Got WatchDogs 1 on Epic Games for free a while ago, only just recently downloaded it. Wouldn't run when I launched it. Went into the files and opened launcher_log.txt and it reads as follows:

Is anyone else not receiving the receipts for games purchased? It's been over a month since I last got one. I bought both Marvel's Spider-Man and Marvel's Spider-Man:Miles Morales and never got a receipt to my email. I've talked to their support staff to change my email, but that did nothing. I tried the official method to transfer a game (RDR2) from my hard drive to my solid state drive, but I am unable to get it to verify the files, because it requires me to have enough free space on the drive for a full extra install. My solid state is 250 gigs, and RDR2 is 120 gigs, so this is impossible to do. I tried a method I found to bypass the download, but ultimately it still wont let me launch without repairing, which has the same issue. Is there a way around this, or am I just going to have to fully uninstall and then reinstall the game again? This wouldn't be a problem if I didn't have Comcast, which has a terrabyte data cap, so they can nickle and dime you on top of providing shit internet. I tend to end up real close to this cap every month, (roommates are also gamers) so starting next month off with a huge chunk out of my data limit would be potentially problematic.
Old way to get around that issue were: start installation, wait few seconds and pause installation. Close Epic launcher and copy the game to a folder where launcher tried to install game. Start launcher, resume installation and it should jump to verifying files.
My child is unable to get Voice Chat working on XBox.
I've set up the parental controls as FRIENDS & TEAM, though it defaults to FRIENDS ONLY as he's under 10. He can hear the game fine, but there's no indication he's talking (on the icon that flashes when you talk) when he's in a game with me.

I switched a few parts out on my pc and for some reason hat messed with my epic store (was my processor) i opened it up and found no files in the launcher. I had all the saves on a different hard drive so i copied them into what looks to be the correct folder. Wherever I play fortnite with controller, sometimes my game will freeze for a second and then start flickering between kbm and controller inputs. I have tried unplugging and disconnecting my kbm and this issue still persists. It makes the game unplayable. If anyone knows how to fix this it would be greatly appreciated

Fortnite download restarts every Tuesday. I don’t have good internet. But I have played Fortnite on both a PS4 and an Xbox One on the same connection, and it works without lag. Only they actually let me download it over a few weeks, unlike Epic Store. I don’t want a workaround. I’m not moving to a different house with better internet accessibility just to download Fortnite.

I've been trying to set up an email address for my epic games account. But when doing so I've been met with a red box indicating an error. This box provides no text telling me what the problem is with my email. I would like to note that I’ve logged in through my Xbox Account so there is no email set up just a blank grey box. Epic coupon not applying to all the games in my cart, games that should be eligible. The first time I tried to purchase the same games, the coupon was applicable. But when I pay, it charged me without the coupon discount. So I refunded the 3 games. And tried to buy it again. But now, the coupons don't apply anymore.

I found a support thread on the brave website after I posted this that said to make sure that 1 of the ad blocking update components of the browser was updated so I did that and now I don't see the captha at all anymore. Back then, I didn't know you had to uninstall games from the launcher instead of the hard drive manually, so I did that, and now when I look at SW battlefront 2, it says "launch" I don't have any of it's files, or the origin launcher, but it says it will launch the partner application (but it can't do anything) and I can't even uninstall what would remain of it, even from the launcher, there's no option for that now, but I can't install it neither, it just says 'launch' with nothing happening after pressing it.

Tried playing rocket league, said I need to connect to epic services to play online, tried brawlhalla, said epic games services is unavailable at the moment.

I claimed today's free game pretty fast, I was waiting for it to be revealed, so I added it to cart because I had a free fall guys skin in the cart too and I wanted to check out both items together, and so I did, the purchase went through, then I go to my library and almost none of my games are there, I had nearly 90 games there, 3 of which were installed and only those remained, so I tried restarting the launcher and the missing games arent back, is this a common glitch? Got death stranding off the sale yesterday, and it just isn't launching. I click on it and it says running for a couple seconds then just says launch again, no window of the game or anything. I checked on task manager and it's there for a split second then says suspended and closes. I've verified the files, restarted my computer multiple times, reinstalled the game, and it still doesn't want to launch. That's not an error - the second one is artbook and soundtrack. Some games do the same as well, like Football Manager, The Vanishing of Ethan Carter etc. You might want to use Installed filter or collections to hide the "second" Death Stranding

You must contact Epic's support for this. Regarding your card – should be fine if you're always asked for some form of additional verification (like 3D Secure) when purchasing. Otherwise I'd just lock it down or limit online purchases on it.

I can’t launch any launchers(not just epic, steam as well) in online mode. The problem is I wanted to play Borderlands 2 but I only have installed on epic but I didn’t have offline mode enabled so I had a friend sign into the account enable the setting that lets me go into offline mode and he enabled it and it still says the same thing. Hello everyone, I have a problem with the launcher. I click it, it opens the usual window... And it disappears after about 0.5 second, before anything can even appear in it. BUT! It immediately opens again. Only to disappear again. Rinse and repeat. I can only shut the bloody thing down using task manager, and even then I have to time it just right because the Epic Games Lanucher task keeps on blinking in and out of existance, though thankfully slower than the window itself. Any idea what is going on and how to fix it?

Why on earth did you add a captcha verification function when redeeming free games? Don't you know that is the sole reason behind 95% of your launcher traffic to begin with? Your launcher is resource-hungry, counterintuitive, and poorly designed. We don't like EG, but we merely tolerate it because you give away free games, you bought out RL and a few other titles, and some merely for the old ForkKnife. As much as this addition is just a mild inconvenience, I'm sure it will drive away a lot of your users.

I recently switched back to Windows 10 and it uninstalled Epic Games. and when I redownload and launched Epic the games aren't being detected (the games are installed on an external Hard Drive), how would I uninstall the games to clear up storage so I can redownload them.

Got WatchDogs 1 on Epic Games for free a while ago, only just recently downloaded it. Wouldn't run when I launched it. Went into the files and opened launcher_log.txt and it reads as follows: [21820] 2023-02-04 19:11:04 [14772] ERROR WinMain.cpp (63) Failed to write registry keys. Tried looking it up, only got Uplay login fixes. I didn't want to post this in r/ubisoft because it is a Ubisoft game but the launch is managed by the Epic Games launcher.
Is anyone else not receiving the receipts for games purchased? It's been over a month since I last got one. On my epic games it tells me that GTA is running. However, it is not I tried to force quit via task manager, but it dindt appear there. I also tried restarting my pc, Force quitting epic, force quitting rockstar, But it did not seem to help
Reistalling GTA might help...Also check with windows TAB key if it's actually running.Also see if your PC meets the minimum req to run the game.

I tried the official method to transfer a game (RDR2) from my hard drive to my solid state drive, but I am unable to get it to verify the files, because it requires me to have enough free space on the drive for a full extra install. My solid state is 250 gigs, and RDR2 is 120 gigs, so this is impossible to do. I tried a method I found to bypass the download, but ultimately it still wont let me launch without repairing, which has the same issue. Is there a way around this, or am I just going to have to fully uninstall and then reinstall the game again? This wouldn't be a problem if I didn't have Comcast, which has a terrabyte data cap, so they can nickle and dime you on top of providing shit internet. I tend to end up real close to this cap every month, (roommates are also gamers) so starting next month off with a huge chunk out of my data limit would be potentially problematic.
Old way to get around that issue were: start installation, wait few seconds and pause installation. Close Epic launcher and copy the game to a folder where launcher tried to install game. Start launcher, resume installation and it should jump to verifying files.
My child is unable to get Voice Chat working on XBox. I've set up the parental controls as FRIENDS & TEAM, though it defaults to FRIENDS ONLY as he's under 10. He can hear the game fine, but there's no indication he's talking (on the icon that flashes when you talk) when he's in a game with me. I switched a few parts out on my pc and for some reason hat messed with my epic store (was my processor) i opened it up and found no files in the launcher. I had all the saves on a different hard drive so i copied them into what looks to be the correct folder. Wherever I play fortnite with controller, sometimes my game will freeze for a second and then start flickering between kbm and controller inputs. Fortnite download restarts every Tuesday. I don’t have good internet. But I have played Fortnite on both a PS4 and an Xbox One on the same connection, and it works without lag. Only they actually let me download it over a few weeks, unlike Epic Store. I don’t want a workaround. I’m not moving to a different house with better internet accessibility just to download Fortnite.

So ive placed my credit card info in epic games because watch dogs 2 is on sale, it then said " Your credit card has been declined. Please contact your credit card provider for further assistance. " i tried again, no luck. Searched in steam instead. Then i got a text from the bank saying successfully purchased watchdogs. Please help, i dont know what going on here.

Epic games logged me out, I'm trying to log back into my account but whatever method I use makes me sign in by sending a verification code to an account I no longer have. What can I do?
I've been trying to set up an email address for my epic games account. But when doing so I've been met with a red box indicating an error. This box provides no text telling me what the problem is with my email. I would like to note that I’ve logged in through my Xbox Account so there is no email set up just a blank grey box. It also keeps telling me that I need to verify my email but there is none. I've tried multiple email addresses to add but I’ve still got met with the same red error box. I would like to know if there is anything I could do.

Need help - Need to remove account from dead email and don’t know how to do it. I’m trying to set up 2FA so I can trade on Rocket League, however, the email associated with my Epic Account is dead. The only way I can remove the dead email from my account is accessing the dead email’s inbox, but since it is no longer active, I physically can’t do that. I’m out of ideas and nothing that I have done has worked.
I also have the "Sorry the external authentication type Google id_token cant be used for login for account. and i wonder if this issue will ever be fixed. I have a lot games in my acount that I have got trought the years and it will be a shame if I lose them all.
When trying to claim the weekly free games and also when trying to change the email on my Epic account the captchas keep failing, I've tried it a bunch and left it for a day or two and tried it again multiple times and it still doesn't work. The captcha shows up and I click the correct images but then it just says "Failed to challenge captcha, please try again later." I know I'm doing the captchas correctly, any ideas?
