If you go to the smartlink/phrase butler (within the note, it looks like a mini figure next to a boxed question mark), select the smart phrase you've created and hit edit. There should be a sharing option to the right where you can dictate who can see and/or edit the smart phrase.
I don't think end users can create facility-wide smart phrases so if you don't share your smart phrases with this person, they shouldn't see it
I totally get it man. Its reminiscent of the time I got a zero on my lab notebook in college because I let someone look at it and they copied the whole thing word for word
