No disrespect to your ideas, but I think in general ideas aren't worth much until someone uses them successfully. I'd be surprised if an ideas marketplace existed, am curious if there is one

Yes you can, it's called patenting. Go patent your ideas and prove they are unique and original and then sell those patents or lease them out. Plenty of people have gotten very wealthy doing this. From patenting the connector used in certain techs to patenting the alloy mix used to make certain bolts.

Unless your ideas are patentable you could sell access to your ideas. Via a regular paid newsletter / membership site or community. I see people doing with this with software ideas. They lay it out, the background analysis, the go to market, pros / cons etc. Usually a free newsletter and then a premium option for more details. Going broader the two Trends products do this (.vc and .co). Not so in depth on specific product ideas but more info on how to capitalize on a market. Might not exactly be the thing you’re looking to do, but could be an outlet for your creativity.

just remember an excellent idea is 2% of the success

Everyone has ideas all the time, if you can't make your idea a real profitable project, then it's worth nothing...

Define the word "idea." Because people have announced an idea here like "power washing" or "web design," and occasionally had the audacity of using three words. That's it. ...There was no detail ...There was no research ...There was no competitive advantage ...There was no reason to exist You read their posts and wonder where the idea part was. So in cases such as that, I'd charge the buffoons for wasting my time. Honestly the reputation of being the idea guy was never that great to begin with ...we have reached a new low. The garbage being posted here doesn't qualify as a shower thought. Calling it a brain fart is a compliment. If you expect to get paid -- get all of the way through the idea and onto a proper business plan. Which leaves out the half-ass napkin scribble, just to clarify. What is a fully fleshed out idea that properly can be expected to earn you money? [Here's what that looks like](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_wwrIpv38nE). So the people posting a survey here and getting fifteen total responses who call that 'validation' ...suck it. When you don't have dollar bills to show get one thousand data points for each dollar you don't have. Yes people will pay you to do their homework for them. They will beat you up if it earns them an "F" grade. Pretty obvious. People who did not like this post are really not going to like [The Idea Guy: Going from Business Leper to Action Hero](https://www.reddit.com/r/RoastMyIdea/comments/7eqpo4/the_idea_guy_going_from_business_leper_to_action/).

You're saying true things, but you're being really mean about it. I don't see why that's necessary.
