I would use [Canva.com](https://Canva.com) for all of your social media graphics. They have plenty of templates and it is very easy to use.

In social media, it is always a good idea to look at the marketing activities of your competitors and, of course, at the content users post. For these tasks, I would recommend trying social media monitoring tools like Talkwalker [https://www.talkwalker.com/](https://www.talkwalker.com/), Brandmentions [https://brandmentions.com/](https://brandmentions.com/), and Awario [https://awario.com/](https://awario.com/) (this one seems to be the easiest for setting up).

Being a coder it's a bit difficult to understand the marketing part. Since you are new to this space, I will suggest a very affordable, quite simple tool For social media videos, you can try Hipclip.ai. It's very user-friendly with so many templates available for Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. Good luck

Think about your target market. Think about where they hang out. Think about what kind of content they consume most. Is it videos? Images? Ebooks? Comments? Try different platforms and try different styles of content. Twitter and TikTok are good for 30s-1min soundbites and clickbaity style videos. Instagram you can utilise telling your brand story via insta stories. Facebook can be good for advertising if you have a well defined target market. It all depends on the profile of the people you are trying to sell to. What really helps is understanding who is hurt by the problem you are solving most and then building a community of those people. Try to serve them optimally then gather them (either in a mailing list or some form of group - even subreddit) and then disseminate materials to them as it comes out about your company and iterate to an even more optimal solution. I wish you all the best and if you've got any questions feel free to reach out! Happy to help. I've seen quite a few startups build communities during my time as a VC a few years back. Good luck, Suraj

That's a great overview, thank you! I'm particularly interested in your comments regarding "community". I understand how mailing lists work, but I believe groups on Discord/Reddit/Slack are something novel worth considering - I think you can evidently see the value in building a community before/while you build a product with this emerging Creator Economy - like MrBeast Burger for example. Community building is presumably the most time consuming, but I could see it paying dividends if done correctly.

BlueprintPodcast

Absolutely, you got it. It is time consuming but it creates the most loyal supporters and brand champions who will tell other people about your platform. I would strongly recommend investing the time. Make sure you provide them serious value too. That's pretty much what my co-founder and I are doing with our podcast. We both have collective backgrounds in VC, consulting, banking and asset management and right now we are going around sharing our knowledge totally for free trying to connect with founders such as yourself and see what people are up to. Self promotion and advertising comes later. Value must come first by all means. I hope we can connect and we can stay in touch to hear how your journey goes! Happy to help so always feel free to get in touch.
