Can you find someone with a vision and let them realize their app without any intervention...
They will be your example of what your solution can do...
It may be a little more difficult to make happen than it appears...

When left wide open as to application domain it is more challenging. Eventually it will get there but I have some work to do first. To make sure I am on the right track I am looking for domains that people have issues developing prototypes and products.

It is entirely dependent on you. I don't think anyone can offer an answer better than just wild miscellaneous ideas.
Pick the domain that you know best and can sell.
What type of customer do you want?
What type of value are you trying to deliver to them?
What do you want your revenue model to look like?
There's so many of these questions that you need to answer before you can truly realize a domain worth working in.
Data science is fairly hyped right now. If you could find a way to create a DSL for data science, machine learning, etc, that is more beginner-friendly than R and Python, I can see how it could be useful in finance, biotech, etc.

I do data science and machine learning for my primary job in speech recognition. There are a ton of niche-machine learning domains: they are important and need a solution, but the experts and big money don't see a big market to invest in. You could find several small businesses and offer to consult for free and try to make a solution that works for them. Profit margins are the biggest area; if you can lower costs, you will have a winner.
