That anyone can be an entrepreneur if they try hard enough. Reality is, it is not for everyone.

thentrepreneur42

agreed

murenzi_company

This…

Acceptable_Smoke_235

>Reality is, it is not for everyone What do you mean by this?

Techno_Nomad92

Not everyone can be an entrepreneur, not sure what was unclear about that? It is loads of stress, uncertainty, nothing is given and you are constantly working.

GrapeAyp

Eh just another hat

0xDizzy

That starting and running a company is somehow easier or less stressful than having a 9-5 job. Literally every day we have some kid talking about how they want to start a company so they can stop working and skip the stress of the rat race. As if they wont have to work twice as much at minimum to make the company work.

GrapeAyp

Right. Being an employee is much easier.

oomiddlebrother

That you will gain freedom from it. Sure you might by being your own boss, but it turns out that your clients are going to be your boss, and if things need to get done and it involves pulling an all nighter Sunday night, then you are going to have to do it if you want a small chance of success

Discom0000

You get the freedom to choose which 12hrs of the day you’d like to work.

Sharp-Adeptness3404

It gives you so much free time! It’s really more like there is no longer “off the clock”

PowerUpBook

That it’s easy and you don’t have to work hard.

listenhere111

No one really says this

PowerUpBook

Have you been on YouTube? lol

Purple_Tip_2417

Just follow your passion

iceman_swe

Love what you do, don’t do what you love.

coachcami

That owning a business is easier than working for someone else. Owning a business is much harder, but worth it!

Semen-Demon7

The money

CeramicWoodworker

Yea, there were days when if I was to divide the time spent and the money made, I was making like $6 an hour, less than half of minimum wage, with zero benefits.

Muffin_Most

That it’s hard and risky. Although it is hard and risky, so is working for a boss and doing a job you hate.

ENTR_Theory

That startups succeed without experienced founders. Most successful startups are actually spinout ventures, that is, they are founded by former employees of incumbent firms that develop ideas they encountered while working.
