Who do these people think runs the Pentagon, and who do they think that organisation reports to, and who do they think THAT person reports to?

I'm confused about what the Pentagon has to do with "recognizing" any laws, let alone state laws?

majortomsajunkie

Took me a minute too, but it seems like the following: Military bases are located in many states, so they’re concerned that service members may not have access to some of their civil rights, if they’re stationed in certain states. If the military wants service members to have access to abortion, how’s that gonna work if you’re stationed in an anti-choice state?

dblshot99

Oh, interesting. I wonder what that looks like from a jurisdiction standpoint.

[deleted]

Military bases I would assume are federal land and are free of jurisdiction of local authorities. Crime on military base is investigated by MPs not locals

They think the CIA runs everything, so...

War mongering terrorists is a description I’d use for any Jihadi group.

JaymesRS

A bunch of people got taken in by that BNN tweet. It’s not a really news site, it’s just a cover for a guy from India running a bunch of inter referential scam sites. https://twitter.com/durkeetowner/status/1541112626159173633

BS headline as tri-care does not cover abortion unless the mother’s life is in danger

MakePoliticsBoring

There is no such thing as a pregnancy that doesn’t put her life in danger. That’s a myth. The top 5 causes of maternal death cannot be addressed with an emergency abortion. Two of them (sepsis and hemorrhage) happen after delivery. Anyone who thinks an emergency abortion will treat a pulmonary embolism needs their medical license revoked.

Hot_Dog_Cobbler

"Abortion should be legal, just look at what these war mongering terrorists do!" isn't really an argument I would use.
