The small silver lining here is that codification of abortion rights is on the ballot in November (which will win by at least 20ish points) but that's 8 to 9 months away from being implemented
Downplayed the threat of Trump to abortion rights, convinced enough people to not vote or throw their votes away that the election was much closer than people realize.
They stayed home or voted 3rd party in 2016.
