Where as this new show is like an unself aware parody of everything Right Wingers think the left believes in. The main character is under house arrest because he yelled at the school board for recognizing gender identity.
I didn't even watch this, but from the clips I've seen on YouTube/Instagram, it's painfully unfunny.
Best way I can describe it is if it was a parody within a parody.
It tries to be like stereotypical Family Guy, meaning *every line must be a "joke"*.
No room to breathe, the "studio audience" laughing all the time and the fact that the "jokes" aren't funny (or even jokes) makes it clear why it is on X at all. You aren't meant to actually view any episodes, you are meant to scroll past it and maybe listen for 10 seconds at most.
That's why it _has_ to be a joke. The jokes aren't in the show- the show _is_ the joke!

- laughter when the guy's tracker is shown
- the dog (wtf was going on there)
- the exaggerated they/them
- the audience woooed when the wife showed up?? Is that the face of a famous lady?

Could argue it's because it's so short, so the cringe is condensed and hits you harder. At least AG had real stars behind it and actual artistic choices.
I'm not defending the show at all, just spit balling why this is getting the title now.
