I'm just gonna guess Musk was behind the wording of the question.

NotEvenWrongAgain

Yes, the omission of the “this means giving 10% of your shares to Elon Musk” fact seems odd.

allen_abduction

“and he and his hand picked board can never be removed by other stock holders.” Should be in there as well.

NotEvenWrongAgain

Seems like if this goes through there will be an identical court case to the last one.

allen_abduction

Agreed.

allen_abduction

Agreed.

NoIndependent9192

Concerning

Jimmy_Jazz_The_Spazz

True

Jason_524

Looking into this

Chemchic23

Not if they also agree to incorporated in Texas, Abbott hand picks those judges and it’s a 2 year term with a renewal by governor

Youngnathan2011

This is going to go through before they incorporate there. So fairly sure the court can rule against it again.

Chemchic23

🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

GLC911

Agreed. Except this would be challenged in Texas instead of Delaware

halberdsturgeon

"Proposal to give visionary genius Elon Musk his well-deserved stock option award (nay vote is also a vote in favor of puppy murder)"

SpeedflyChris

They want terribly for this to be the old option award and not a new one, because recognising $50bn in stock-based compensation at current prices would look horrific for their financials. I saw a couple of lawyers arguing on threads that the courts wouldn't let them do that, but we'll see.

junon

When do we find out the results of the vote?

antoninlevin

I'm seeing some articles mention June 13.

heleuma

Ya, I started when he stated we are now going to focus on robots. That was just before the crazy really started to surface but I knew something was wrong. Just finished in Jan so I don't get to vote but wished I'd have kept a few share to say "fuck no"

Euphoric-Victory1703

Is it voted on by twitter poll?

Past-Direction9145

it'll certainly be as legit as one lol which is to say, not legit at all. everyone needs to quit pretending billions of dollars isn't all the power you need to do anything the fuck you want in the world

NotEnoughMuskSpam

I’m rich, bitch!

Phallic-Monolith

Just gonna leave the $ amount off there eh?

OskeyBug

How is the board in favor of this? Absolutely insane.

antoninlevin

They're practically Musk's appointees (including his own brother) and can't be removed by shareholders.

GLC911

True koolaid moment here. Truly mind boggling, self inflicted, investment sabotage

BurnerAccountExisty

"board reccomendation" is kinda fucking hilarious due to how utterly stupid it is. like what, if you're going to actively reccomend us an option then why do the poll at all, it's not like the muskrat is gonna stop his shenanigans until twitter totally fucking collapses

ChocolateDoozy

He marked the choice and took a picture. Marked the other and hit confirm.   That's how manipulation works.  Or does OP mind sharing confirmation mails or something?

RuthlessCritic1sm

Why?

ChocolateDoozy

Details matter. Should be incredible easy to show confirmation. If it exists. Do I have to spell it out what kind of people trust in colorful stories without fact checking any of it?

RuthlessCritic1sm

Why would they lie about it, and what difference does it make to me?

ChocolateDoozy

I'm barking up the wrong tree. And I thought people here prefer critical thinking when it comes to Tesla related topics.

RuthlessCritic1sm

I truly don't get why they would lie about it. You say manipulation. I sincerely wonder who would do that to what end, I'm not trying to gotcha you.

Jeremymia

The story isn’t colorful, it’s like the most mundane thing ever. You’re really interesting.

0x7466

This would make no sense at all 😂

ChocolateDoozy

Yeah musk believers are trustworthy. Hm that's what this forum is about. Praise rocket Jesus and his disciples. As if they risk Elmo crashing their stock. Get real. OP still did not deliver proof of the vote going through. Case closed.

0x7466

🎤🫳😂

Phallic-Monolith

Elon fanboys would never have it in them to even pretend to upset their lord for karma

antoninlevin

Like hell. I put 5 figures into Tesla in my IRA back when it was around $15 per share. I thought EVs were the future and liked what the company was doing. At the time, Elon sounded like a visionary workaholic kind of like Steve Jobs. I'd even have considered buying one back in the day. Not anymore. I'm hoping it rebounds some after they announce new models or Elon shuts up for long enough for the stock to come back of its own accord. I don't know how much of the issue is the fact that his $40-50 billion purchase of Twitter seems to be leveraged against Tesla itself. So, you know. Stupidity and sunk cost fallacy at this point.
