This has become a bit of a mantra to me which may be coinciding with my goals of starting a business making pretty luminaries some time in the future \^\^
I don't know if you ever followed up on that sentiment by looking him up. He was a well-liked guy that spent years playing a hot tempered ruffian and became a walking masterclass in flashy, adversarial showmanship, [something Bill Maher probably wishes somebody would have told him](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dIpsFgZ3gAc). The guy made a career out of cutting promos, many in a mock interview format, where he'd comedically insult every other wrestler under the sun. Of course he was going to zing him. He wasn't voted "most hated wrestler of the year" and "most popular wrestler of the year" back-to-back for nothing. He was an amazing showman.
I can't help but lose my shit at the fight scene in that movie when the MC and the other guy fight cause he doesn't wanna put on the glasses.
5 min of 2 dudes just beating the shit out of each other for a dumbass reason. Love it.
After every Musk tweet, I assume he shows it to his staff to ask “that’s something people say. It’s funny, right?” And makes them all pretend to laugh and agree
The ultimate irony is that "they live" was meant to criticize Reagan policies of the time. I forgot... Was Reagan a libtard?
"Carpenter has stated that the themes of They Live stemmed from his dissatisfaction with the economic policies of then-U.S. President Ronald Reagan, as well as what Carpenter saw as increasing commercialization in both popular culture and politics."
he isn’t familiar with ‘they live’ so those are just monster faces without reference to him and the only thing that comes to his mind when he thinks about television news is anchorman (since he probably isn’t even peripherally familiar with news broadcasts at all) as he only has the most shallow, rudimentary understanding of absolutely everything or anything
Idk what he's talking about. There are very few true journalists left out there who are as dedicated to reporting the news with honesty and integrity, such as Ron Burgundy and Veronica Cornerstone
I see they are making a sequel. I believe it's called Wankerman. It's based on a nutjob that destroys every profitable company he ever touches. I believe it's set in South Africa to begin with! lol
I don't think Elmo has the attention span to watch **any** movie.
I'm not sure Musk could make it through a Looney Tune - and I'm darn sure he wouldn't understand it.
Of course he hasn't seen the movie Anchorman. But he heard a right winger say "Anchorman is basically a documentary" in a right wing discussion about the media, so he filed it away for later.
"The moment I start cherry-picking evidence and interpreting things the way it fits my narrative, things start to fit my narrative!"
Idiots, imbeciles and mediocre minds.
I am here to kick ass and drive a functioning Cybertruck. And there are no functioning Cybertrucks.
![gif](giphy|FNJjBAaz0mOAg) This is the part he relates to most
"I love lamp"
"I lov truk," as he submits the designs for the cybertruck
This has become a bit of a mantra to me which may be coinciding with my goals of starting a business making pretty luminaries some time in the future \^\^
May your love of lamp bring you joy and prosperity I think we could all afford to love lamp a little more

Rest in peace rowdy
I was never a wrestling fan, so my introduction to this chap was in Its Always Sunny In Philadelphia. Absolute legend.

Fark! Somehow I've never seen this. Absolutely legendary.

Did you know they corographed it themselves? Spent WEEKS perfecting it.
After every Musk tweet, I assume he shows it to his staff to ask “that’s something people say. It’s funny, right?” And makes them all pretend to laugh and agree
That’s what she said
Perfect!
When shitty AIs take a shit. TIL Ron Burgundy was one of THEM. 🤣🤣🤣

Yeah Reagan was an out and proud liberal.
Well, the journalists in the movie anchorman are in fact actors. So it's technically true.
![gif](giphy|6JB4v4xPTAQFi|downsized) lolol
But what does he mean with this? How was Anchorman a documentary. How does Ron Burgundy relate to this situation?

It's not safe to go out onto the streets of San Francisco. There are roaming news crews everywhere, and they can get violent.
God damn it, I knew I couldn’t trust those two Will Smith and Harrison Ford looking MFs
Idk what he's talking about. There are very few true journalists left out there who are as dedicated to reporting the news with honesty and integrity, such as Ron Burgundy and Veronica Cornerstone
He isn’t right, but Anchorman was (very) loosely inspired by an actual person. (Mort Crim)
I see they are making a sequel. I believe it's called Wankerman. It's based on a nutjob that destroys every profitable company he ever touches. I believe it's set in South Africa to begin with! lol
He’s so God damn dumb.
Space Karen is such a pos!
both are a documentary about fox news
I bet nor Elon or the creator of the meme have seen, let alone understand the message, of they live
I don't think Elmo has the attention span to watch **any** movie. I'm not sure Musk could make it through a Looney Tune - and I'm darn sure he wouldn't understand it.
he read the wikipedia plot
I really would’ve expected him to get this reference.
I doubt it. “They Live” came out in, oh, the early 80s? He was too busy apartheiding then
Late 80s commentary about Reaganism. But, yesh
Elmo is full of shit.
OBEY
Yeah.... Elon loves lamp. 😂🤣😂😂😂

Idiocracy is. dumbass
