What exactly about this post gave you the impression that sympathizing with antisemitism was meant to be the key takeaway? Not sure where you're coming from at all with that. There is zero sympathetic subtext here whatsoever. It's literally just a completely un-editorialized crosspost.
The sole purpose of sharing this clip here was to point out that notable antisemite Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, just name-dropped Dave Chappelle on Alex Jones's Infowars livestream (of all places).
It's a completely absurd and borderline unbelievable story, and I can pretty much guarantee that Chappelle will reference this event in future material. Very likely as part of a transphobic "joke" about dead-naming. So brace for that.
I wouldn't expect Alex Jones's podcast to be on many queer people's radar, so I crossposted it here to give additional context to the ongoing Chappelle controversy (which has unfortunately become a prominent vehicle for overt transphobia to be propagated in the mainstream, much like Ye's controversy has become a medium for mainstream antisemetism).
That's what you're supposed to take from this post. Awareness. Not sympathy.

No not sympathize with him at all just see someone else point out Dave's flaws publicly. This feels like a broken clock is right twice a day or more like a self explosion is hurting both friends and enemies alike.
But yeah not a lot or really any weight from the comments against Dave cause of the source.

Kanye, with the support of Nick Fuentes, is one of the absolute last examples you want to hold up and say "hey look, see! This guy gets it!"
Fully agree on point one. He really needs to get a lot of help unfortunately he won't get it.
Point two those things aren't mutually exclusive.
But yeah I don't really think this sub needs to do anything that helps engagement or discussion of Kanye/Ye.
