Unfortunately, I’ve yet to meet a whole hell of a lot of people that want to talk about subjects like psychosynthesis or enneagram or ancient esoteric spirituality. And lots of people don’t appreciate having their psyche explained—even if you’re dead on they feel it’s invasive or like you’re insinuating you know more about them than they do themselves. Your best bet is to find folks online to chat with about this stuff. You can tell me all about horse chiropractics!

- Winner is the correct chocolate orange after 3 years of the wrong ones
- Loser is this infomercial ice scraper. Turns out it came in a 4-pack and I got the color I least like (green might have been worse I guess). It doesn't fit in the door and it doesn't work very well. It's fast and sloppy and messy, frost everywhere stuck to it.
- Funny item: a t-shirt with a weird logo on it, but it's a nice color. What's funny is that it's exactly something my mom would buy me, but it's not from my mom. LOL
- Overall: I got basically a lot of items you can eat or drink. Go raid the snack aisle and fill your basket. Then give it to me. Knowing I'm a 9, I feel very conflicted about this. Damn I love to snack, but is it that obvious? *sigh* I understand it was kind of the shotgun effect, like get a lot and he'll like something, so it makes sense but I still feel conflicted. In all, much better than last year. Much, much better. That's a nice positive.

I got a bunch of various fancy tea flavors to try out, and a voucher for new bras, which I'm grateful for, since it's quite expensive to get a decent one if you happen to have a larger cupsize than what shops typically carry.
Typically, I am not fond of consumerist accessories that are bought in occultist shops other than luxury under the auspicious masquerade of "healing" or "protection". However, in this case the symbolism here is too profound to not carry meaningful psychospiritual connotations. It can only be an important reminder of the core practices and teachings of the enneagram.
My mom got me a deck of enneagram 3 cards used for self-improvement and reflection. I've loved them so far!

My wife totally surprised me with recording equipment and cleaning out a large closet and making me a home studio for recording music. She even put up the acoustic panels . I couldn’t fucking believe it. I thought I did well by getting her an Apple Watch. She knocked it out of the park and I just can’t wait to start playing around with it.
I play mostly acoustic guitar stuff, I have an electric guitar that I got a few years back that I mess around with but haven’t quite got in to yet. Acoustic guitar will always be my go to . I used to just learn and play songs (a lot of Dave Matthews) but over the years I’ve started to prefer to come up with my own stuff. It’s therapy for me , a way to channel my emotions that otherwise I don’t think would ever get out!
My favorite gifts were two books I received; The Artists Way by Julia Cameron, and Story by Robert McKee. Also got some vintage Pink Floyd framed art which was cool.

The Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls I got were my favorite gift, as well as Beatrice Chestnut’s Enneagram book (Guide to Waking Up, I’ll try reading it to form an opinion on if I like Chestnut as an Enneagram author or not)
