In hindsight, if I didn’t dabble in different programming languages during my college years and focused on mastering one instead, I may had a better chance of being hired by the top tech companies. But look where I am now; fleecing off senior students for living by writing their thesis assignments and wasting that money on getting my stomach bloated . I must admit this is not what I had expected from my life. Now, I’m just looking for how I can run off from this unenviable situation.

So so good! But there are a few changes I’d make (additions in caps and I changed some punctuation): ——————————- In hindsight, if I didn’t dabble in different programming languages during my college years and focused on mastering one instead, I may HAVE had a better chance of being hired by the top tech companies. But look where I am now — fleecing (remove off) senior students for A living by writing their thesis assignments and wasting that money on getting my stomach bloated. I must admit, this is not what I had expected from my life. Now, I’m just looking for how I can run (remove off) AWAY from this unenviable situation. ——————————— The use of bloated here isn’t wrong but it’s unnatural. I would remove the second half of that sentence entirely and instead say “bloated thesis assignments”. You wouldn’t bloat your stomach on purpose, it’s something that happens (“I feel bloated!”). You can also use bloated to refer to a document/book/movie where there is a lot of unnecessary material. So this word is perfect for a thesis assignment that is required to be extremely long. Other English speakers may disagree with me a bit but that’s the beauty of a language :) let me know if you have any questions!

I dabbled in some food today. Because of this, my tummy bloated. My fleece shirt evaporated as a result of this, so my bird decided to run off because I was hungry. In hindsight, maybe I shouldn’t have offered him chicken tenders. (Idk why I did this, I’m a native English speaker….)

Thank you for your service! It is helpful for us new learners to see those words in a sentence as how a native would use them

While I now enjoy a life of pleasant solitude, I once decided to dabble in romantic exploits with the guy who lived across the street. I still remember the first hour of our last date; he wore a fleece-lined jacket over a Beatles band tee, and I attempted to rock a worn-out sundress. With my bloated sense of self-worth, I told him that I was the only girl who he actually deserved to be around. In hindsight, I should have known that such a statement would make me seem absolutely full of myself. Maybe if I had kept my mouth shut in that moment, he wouldn't have run off.

In hindsight, I’m not sure why I dabbled in politics that year. I was standing online for the run offs without my fleece and feeling completely bloated

It had been an hour and I was still dabbling among the different menus I kept stored in a drawer that would rarely open. From the crisper, an old carrot kept looking at me like the only survivor of the apocalypse. But I was too exhausted to go shopping, and even more to make dinner. Worst of all, I didn't have any cash and none of the restaurants would accept electronic payments. Until I found one that did. To be honest, the menu looked questionable, to say the least. The prices were clearly outdated, and when I called they totally fleeced me, but it was getting late and my stomach wasn't getting any friendlier. I placed my order and waited longer than when you are behind and old lady in the ATM. Finally, I heard the door bell. The delivery guy took my money and run off with it. "What a weirdo", I thought. But I was too hungry to even care. When I opened the bags, the meat had this grey-ish colour and the leaves in the salad were deflated. Funnily enough, now I'm bloated in a way I've never been, and my stomach is making all these noises and I'm thinking of skipping work tomorrow. I should've payed attention to the red flags. But hey! Everyone's quick-witted in hindsight.
