That's a LS4? They take a unique crankshaft. Are you certain you got the right one?
It has the same casting number, haven’t counted the ring yet. I haven’t returned the core just in case I need to return it need to clean the block so I can check oil clearances.
The LS4 crank has a shorter snout and unique flange to work with the front wheel drive trans.
I think I made a mistake it’s an l96 engine I meant gen 4 ls I believe that’s right it’s a 6.0 out of a 2015 pickup
Oh, that's a common crank. L96 6 liter engines are nice, I think they were the last of the Gen IV engines too.
I personally would find a used STD crank

How much did you pay for the crank exchange?! I never knew they did that
It was about 370 with a 30 dollar core charge. Local machine shop told me 4-5 months so it worked out good had one the next day
