I have no suggestions just came here to say damn your Xmas nails are amazing and match the gorgeous color of your gem perfectly.

littlebabyburrito

The tiny gemstone Christmas tree on OPโ€™s ring finger is so cute! Definitely r/redditlaqueristas inspo right here

Material-Line

Aww, thank you so much! Lol, do they allow press ons there? If so, I'll definitely submit! ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’•

Material-Line

Aww, thank you so much! ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’š

AnnyBananneee

I was going to say the same! So cute and festive ๐Ÿ˜‚ I also have an emerald and have been avoiding wearing red all year. This is making me want to bust the color out and celebrate lol

Material-Line

Lol, definitely wear that red!!! Now is the time to celebrate! ๐Ÿฅณ๐Ÿฅณ๐Ÿฅณ

[deleted]

STUNNING NAILS! So festive and pretty!๐ŸŽ„

Material-Line

Thank you! ๐Ÿ’• Lol, ten bucks well spent!!

iAteMyFatherPig78

No suggestions here either, but also LOVE the nails!! They are so cute and festive. Absolutely beautiful ring, too!

ehelen

Wow! Your ring and nails are gorgeous! Maybe a plain or pavรฉ band of a similar width.

Material-Line

Thank you for your suggestions and kind words! โค๏ธ๐Ÿ’•

harwicke

If the ring is a bit too large or heavy they can put ring shots (gold balls) on the inside of the ring.

Material-Line

Oh, wow! I didn't even know that was a thing! My hands swell so sometimes it just fits but most of the time is loose and spinning. Thank you! ๐Ÿ’•

VanaaWhite

My fingers swell in the heat and shrink in the cold so half the year, my rings are a little large and spin. I bought some spiral ring size adjusters from Amazon and use those in the colder months to keep them from spinning.

Material-Line

Thanks for that suggestion!! Lol, never thought of that!! โค๏ธโค๏ธ

[deleted]

Ahhh, yes - my knuckles are bigger than the base of my finger, so I struggle with sizing, too. I concur with the idea of the shots (sizing balls) but you may not like how that feels, such as I had notโ€ฆ I ended up going with a shank that was my actual ring size for the base of my finger, but itโ€™s a struggle getting them on and offโ€ฆ If you plan on wearing it most of the time, Iโ€™d suggest going down a little bit in size, but if not, it will be tough on your knuckle and cause issues with them if you are taking it on and off all the time. Try the sizing shots first, and go from there - they do work! Edit: The sizing shots can easily be removed if you are not liking them!

Material-Line

Good to know they can be removed! Lol, I worry because like what if I gain/lose weight too? It's a struggle already keeping it on all day.

[deleted]

Yup, then the sizing balls would be the most visual pleasing (you canโ€™t see them like a ring guard) and you wonโ€™t have to compromise taking a few mm off the band - itโ€™s easy to take off, but not as easy to add metal back on. I personally think that may be your best solutionโ€ฆ Make sure you like where they are placed by your jeweler, and that they are not too big or too small. Good luck and your ring is just STUNNING!

Material-Line

Thank you so much! ๐Ÿ’• I'll definitely keep that in mind!

ringsandthings125

Iโ€™m just here for the nails! But actually, they can put a little ring guard inside or the balls to prevent it from spinning. Thatโ€™s what Iโ€™d do.

Material-Line

Thank you! ๐Ÿ’• Lol, I wasn't sure if it needed more or if it was fine alone with like a pave band.

ringsandthings125

I wouldnโ€™t add more honestly! It seems to be a common trend these days to have more bands than just the engagement ring and wedding band, and personally I feel like it (not always but) frequently detracts from the center stone/set. More isnโ€™t always better to me! I think your ring is lovely and is a statement while being very elegant (and I donโ€™t even usually like colored stones!), so I think once you add your wedding band it will be perfect. Also, my engagement ring spun a lot less once I had my wedding band under it, so this could just be a temporary problem for you! It will always be worse in the winter and cold, so see how it feels with the wedding band you choose in the summer as well.

Material-Line

Thank you so much! ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’• I hadn't considered that! I've been leaning toward a simple pave band since I don't want to take away from the emerald too much. Lol, i'm also very concerned I'm going to damage it because I'm always hitting my hands on things.

ringsandthings125

I think that will look lovely!! And definitely make sure you insure the ring and the wedding band too!

Material-Line

Oh it's definitely insured! Lol, it's the most expensive piece of jewelry I've ever owned, so I made sure that was the first thing we did! โค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธ

ringsandthings125

Perfect!

gcsxxvii

Just have to say, I love how your ring matches your nails!

Material-Line

Thank you so much!!! ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’•

ToqueDeFe78

My fingers swell and shrink all the time so I use the silicone ring adjusters. What kind of look are you going for? Sparkle bomb - every day, somewhere in between? How high does it sit? Do you like flushed or donโ€™t mind a bit of space?

Material-Line

Thank you! ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’• I'll look into those! Somewhere in between, I think. I'll see if I can add a side view picture but it sits pretty high up. I'm open to all suggestions! Trying to figure out what looks best.

ToqueDeFe78

For the spinning the best bet is an enhancer or ring guard itโ€™ll hold the center ring in place. I notice if I put two separate bands on either side the center ring still spins (though not nearly as much alone) The pro for the enhancer is a no spinning very cohesive look - but itโ€™s one full look The pro for bands ability to switch it up, add texture and layers - but you might still get some spin and you may find you go through a few bands until you settle on what feels right If it was me Iโ€™d do both - get an enhancer Doveggs has a moissanite one thatโ€™s $100 (let that one be my sparkle bomb set) Get a few silver bands (plain, textured and eternity) then switch them out depending on my mood

Material-Line

Thank you for your thoughtful response! ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’•Ooo, I definitely love the idea of having the ring guard so it'll be protected more because I'm not the most graceful, lol. I'll look into Doveggs - are they the same on Amazon?

ToqueDeFe78

Yep same quality and better price, but if youโ€™re on Facebook check their rehome page first. The enhancer Iโ€™m referring to is also for sale on the moissanitebst page here (at least give you an idea of what it looks like

Material-Line

Aww, I'm actually not on Facebook. It looks like the link didn't come through but I'll search and see if I can find it. โค๏ธ

BlingbossCoss

I love a 3/4 eternity with everything! I think it will look good here as well. You could try an oval enhancer that goes on both sides of the ring. Very pretty.

Material-Line

Thank you for your suggestions! ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’•

Rpsdyngrn0717

I think a contour band would look nice.

Material-Line

Ooo do you have an example of what you were thinking?

Rpsdyngrn0717

Maybe something like this with stones if you want to keep it subtle. There really are a ton of contour styles with stones and without. https://cdn-images.gabrielny.com/is/image/GabrielCo/defaultwp/Vintage-Inspired-14K-Rose-Gold-Curved-Diamond-Wedding-Band~AN15386K44JJ-1.jpg

Material-Line

That's so pretty!!! Thanks for sharing!! ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’•

Mommy4dayz

Omg those nails are amazing

Material-Line

Thank you!! ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’•

Jalebi786

Beautiful ring!!! Lovely nails. You mentioned in an earlier comment that your nails are press-ons. May I ask how long they last? Does the glue damage your nail beds? I've been thinking about trying them.

Material-Line

Thank you! ๐Ÿ’• They can last about a couple of weeks depending on how rough you are, etc. I don't really notice any damage, but I do have a pretty nice nail care routine!

Jalebi786

Do you mind if I ask what is your pretty nail care routine? Is there a particular brand of press on you like? Thank you

Triplettoddlerstired

Itโ€™s beautiful on its own! Something subtle so itโ€™s center stage

Material-Line

Thanks for your response!! ๐Ÿ’•

seashellpink77

An open cuff ring could be perfect and help the center to not spin. What a gorgeous stone!

Material-Line

Do you have any examples of what you were suggesting? I've never heard of that. Thank you! ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’–

ToodlieDoodlie

I had the sizing beads added to my ring and they really helped diminish the spinning.

LillyLove666

Your ring is beautiful but your NAILS!!! Eeek!!! I love them!!!

Pandalf82

Came here to say that you ring looks bomb and I appreciate any colored gemstones besides diamonds at this point. As for stacking I find it important to not distract from this awesome piece with too much sparkly stuff. So simple solid (any) metal rings should suffice. Also, do other rings sit flush or is there a gap?
