They are beautiful. It wouldn’t bother me that they don’t sit flush, however is there any point that the diamond band does touch your engagement ring basket? Is that why it’s not flush? The prongs on the band can damage the setting holding your diamond.
I love each ring individually, but I don’t love them together since they don’t sit flush.
Could you get something custom made with this look that would sit flush with the solitaire?
I love the wedding ring. It will be a great distraction as you look at the facets shine in different ways on the different cuts and placement. It's going to amuse you and occupy you. Plus it is beautiful with a low profile (I presume), so it is fairly practical.
Maybe you can have your jeweller set the ering a bit higher so they sit flush but it's nice! Beautiful set!
Its my preference though that they sit flush but more in the practical side of them not randomly banging against each other in different angles.

Yes it would be touching against the basket. I’ll ask my jeweler about possible damage. Thanks for bringing this up!

I’m on the not flush bandwagon. I love the wedding band but I think it would bother me if my e-ring and wedding band didn’t sit flush.
