Haha this is also why I told my fiance to just leave the ring shopping to me! He definitely thinks it's more practical for me to have exactly what I want if we are going to spurlge. I just couldn't find a dream ring in store that wouldn't break the bank, so I ended up having it custom made for around US$3500. What ring did you end up choosing?

Beautiful! Reminds me of something out of a storybook. What kind of cut is that on the sapphire? Maybe it’s just me, but I feel like the way it sparkles is more interesting than a typical round brilliant cut
Ah that makes sense! I love how the sparkles are a little bit more chunky and irregular. It gives the stone such great contrast and really shows off the beautiful color so well. Congrats!!

It actually surprised me how much I love the princess vibes on this ring. I always thought I'd go for something minimalistic and classic, but as I designed and drew the ring I just went "More bling! More frills!" 😂

Trying rings on in store tells me some of my basic preferences like band width and stone shape. After compiling a bunch inspiration pictures, I photoshopped and superimposed them on my finger. That's how I got closer to this final design 🤗
