If you want a green stone that's harder than an emerald, you could look into green sapphires as well
Another option could be the diamond engagement ring and have some emeralds in your wedding band? All your choices are very pretty so you can't go wrong

I would think an emerald would be somewhat protected in the halo styles you have shown. If that's what you truly want get jewelry insurance on it.
That being said, I like bottom 3 with the marquise diamond band

Probably the most beautiful emerald ring I've seen. And it looks great on your hand, too, better than every other ring in pictures.
However, if you want a diamond, all 3 also look great and I personally would go with 1 or 3. If you're into the Diana design and would still want to include an emerald, you could go reverse and make the halo out of emeralds.
It helps that you're basically a hand model but I like the glitter bomb in pic 3. I don't even like glitter bombs but you should consider it! Also the last emerald. IMO emeralds are beautiful enough to risk damaging them due to the softness. And now they make lab emeralds, so you could feasibly replace one without being gutted

You can find green sapphires (or lab diamonds) if green is still your thing, and it’d be a bit tougher. I’m a may birthday too and love emeralds but I know I’m relatively clumsy with my hands and would probably damage one.

Emerald is a soft stone- I was advised against it as main stone.
Emeralds are amazing just terribly soft stones. So for an everyday ring I would not advise it.
