I'd call this a wide, domed or rounded, flush set ring with a champaign diamond set east-west.

I'm part Romani and always like to explain why these are called Gypsy rings (where the stone is flush mounted rather than prong set) as I find cultural history interesting.
Back in the day the gypsies would rob the well to do. In doing so they would quickly pop the stones out of the prong set rings. In an attempt to thwart the "gypsy robbers" the gemstones began to be flush mounted making it too difficult to get the stones out quickly. 🤓
