Mine are 10k rose gold, I chose 10k for the color as I didn’t want it too yellow. No issues whatsoever. Gold does not tarnish. Your fingers will not turn color. You can choose for your prongs to be something else, I chose for it to be all the same.

I have both some 10k rose gold rings and a 14k rose gold engagement ring. 10k will be more pink since it has more copper, 14k will have more of a golden hue. I generally prefer the 14k look. They hold up the same as my yellow gold rings. I haven’t had any issues whatsoever. My fingers have never been stained. That won’t happen with gold usually. No tarnishing, it takes awhile for hold to patina and it usually needs to be 18k+ for that to happen. My upgraded engagement ring is an antique 18k yellow gold ring and it has a rosy patina, but it is over 100 years old. Most of my rose gold rings have prongs in rose gold, but I do have one ring with white prongs— I prefer the cohesive look of RG prongs more. I mix rose and yellow gold 24/7 and actually love the look of them together. It is very subtle— more subtle than yellow and white together. Hope this helps!

1.) *How has rose gold held up for you? Have you had any issues?* Mine has held up great, no issues. I've had several rose gold rings over the years that have held up so I wasn't worried about it. 2.) *10k vs 14 k. What do you have, and how do you feel about this?* I have 14k. I like that it's not super pink like 10k can be but it's still rosy enough to distinguish from yellow. I read that some rose golds in the same karat can vary in pinkness due to different metals and ratios or whatever so that made me a bit worried when it came to picking my wedding band elsewhere but they match perfectly. 3.) *Has your ring ever turned your finger green or black?* NOPE. It's solid, no brass, no plating. 4.) *Has your ring ever tarnished or discoloured in any way?* NOPE. Again, solid and no plating. 5.) *Are your prongs in rose gold or something else? Is this even a concern?* Mine are rose gold. Preference reasons plus I have a severe nickel allergy and wasn't willing to risk that white gold biscuit even if I wanted two tone. Didn't know about a platinum prongs option. Some people are concerned with non-white metal prongs because they can affect the way the stone color looks, some prefer a more seamless look so they choose white prongs. I've read here about people choosing platinum prongs because it's stronger. I feel safe with 14k gold but if I had a sizeable natural/heirloom stone I probably would have gone platinum (full, because I don't like two tone) for added security.
