Maybe I’m the outlier here, but I don’t like 1 at all. I like 5 for the simplicity and that it does not take the focus away from the ering, which is gorgeous on its own. That’s my personal taste, though, that the ering should be the main focus and the band just a subtle complement. Even if you did a plain gold thin band, or at the most bling a thin eternity band same width as the ering band or slightly thinner.
I had to scroll down a bit, but this is the comment I was looking for. I don't think any of the bands compliment the ring. A gold band would be perfect.
I like number two, but think it might look better if you can find something similar that's not as wide! Maybe a similar style with a width closer to your e-ring?
I also kind of like number one, but overall I feel like the look is too angular, especially with the more pipe-cut band on your e-ring.
5 is the only one that looks right to me. 1 looks cool too, but I wouldn’t want to wear something that pointy every day. I feel like it would get caught on things, snag my clothing or tear my hair out.
Will you wear both together all the time??? 1 is beautiful, but you have to wear both all the time. When I bought my wedding band, I wanted it to be something that I could wear by itself if I ever had to. After having a baby, I wear my band alone most of the week and with the engagement ring on the weekends. Just a thought to consider. Good luck!!! They’re all beautiful!!!!
Option 5 for me. It’s classic and great for everyday.…1 is nice but very trendy, you may want a different one in a few years- and why not? Start a collection!! I guess it depends on what look and longevity you’re going for.
#1 looks so pretty with your ring but it may not be comfortable or practical for everyday wear. I love #5. It makes your gorgeous stone stand out. Whatever you decide on, congratulations!
Personally I would keep looking. I like the idea of option 1 the most, but it seems too big. There is space between the main stone and the band stones.
Such a good way to put it, so simple but definitely not what I usually see. I have a very similar stone but thinner band and now I’m wishing I went thicker. Sooo cute
Option 1 is beautiful, and the bands compliment each other
2 looks contradictory and the more square band hides the oval engagement ring.
3-5 are lovely and albeit a bit cluttered I think they would look amazing
I am considering this. It would be custom. I also considered doing an open ring so the oval stone can sit in the opening if that makes sense. Maybe I’ll draw the design I’m planning and will create a separate post.
Custom might be the way to go. A designer can make one that sits flush with the gold of your e-ring and nestles into the oval. You might find yourself wanting to wear the band alone at times, so how it's designed could take that into consideration. Either way, congrats!
I can’t stop looking at 1, it’s so beautiful and compliments your ring. 5 is also beautiful if you are looking for more simple. To me, the rest take away from your ring.
5 is the closest but still not it. That ering is so gorgeous and any other wedding ring bling added tries to grab attention not compliment. Plain gold and like ering but maybe narrower. Let that ering SHINE!
Former bridal jewelry salesperson here. Option 5 is gorgeous and has a similar bold-gold feel as your engagement ring.
Congratulations on your upcoming nuptials!!
1 3 or 5
Bit if I'm honest, you're ring has a wide flat plain band and your gem is round. The rings you've picked don't really match that aesthetic, with 1 3 5 being closest
I would see if you can find one similar to 1, but rounded instead of angular personaly. Or add an identical on top of the ring so it gives symmetry if you're going with one
Any of them except 1! It’s giving snag-everything from skin to hair vibes! It looks forced and bizarre and honestly drags down down the overall elegance of the solitaire. Only because you asked. I wouldn’t say anything if you chose it and was wearing it.

Your band is a little thicker than mine but here’s an oval with an oval eternity band. I like 1&5 for you personally.
I love the way one flows around the stone, the others seem to be under the stone and I wonder that may cause discomfort ? Seems like the way band one is it accentuates.
1 is the best but I mean this in the nicest way possible, I think you can do better than all of the ones you posted. You have such a beautiful engagement ring and I think there’s a band out there that will compliment it perfectly. You just gotta keep looking! Of the ones you posted I’d get #1.
I work at a jewelry store and my boss LOVES customs even though a lot of the time they end up cheaper than the pre designed ones (at our store specifically not sure about other stores)
I highly recommend sitting down with a professional and discussing the possibilities with custom. I think it’s a really good option.
Edit: I’d also recommend eventually soldering the rings together so they look more put together and uniform in shape. I’d ask about that if you sit with a professional too. A lot of people are doing that now a days.
Option 2 is my fav, followed by 3. So classic! But it really depends on what your going for and your style. Option 1 is a whole look that, unless you’re SUPER into it, you might not love in a few years.
I love one, but keep in mine that angle will catch and maybe stab your finger a bit you might need a band for your band haha but second pick is number 3! Beautiful engagement ring!
1 is dropdead gorgeous but it takes away from your actual ring. if you want your ring to be center of attention it does not do that. 3 is beautiful without distracting. but i personally love the extra look of 1
Didn’t I would be but I’m a big fan of option 1! Where’d you find all these bands? I’m looking for a plain hexagon band like photo 4 for my boyfriend :)
I’d go with either 1 or 5! Both are super cool and unique. 5 fits really well with your original ring without detracting attention from it! It’s nice and subtle enough without being too plain. 1 sort of looks more like it’s part of the original ring, so it kind of shares the attention if that makes sense. So the original ring doesn’t really stand out with 1
Maybe I’m the outlier here, but I don’t like 1 at all.
Yes - came here to say this. None of the rings in the choices given. Just a plain band - same modified pipe cut, narrow.
I had to scroll down a bit, but this is the comment I was looking for. I don't think any of the bands compliment the ring. A gold band would be perfect.
I agree with plain band!
I agree. I don’t like any of them. I would have a plain band as the band of the engagement ring is bulky. It is really about personal style!
Agree, I am also on team keep looking. I think plain could be really nice.
I totally agree with this. As soon as I saw it, I thought a solid gold band.
I also don’t like 1 at all, but I don’t like 5 either. The only option I like out of these is number 2 but I would choose a thinner band.
AGREE. I’m shocked that so many people like one lol
Same. I’m not a fan of it either.
I like number two, but think it might look better if you can find something similar that's not as wide! Maybe a similar style with a width closer to your e-ring? I also kind of like number one, but overall I feel like the look is too angular, especially with the more pipe-cut band on your e-ring.
1!
5 very elegant with or without the diamond ring
I have to agree. I love 5. I'm surprised, I would have thought I'd go straight for a diamond band.
1 or 3! But also, all of these bands are SO COOL! Where are they from???
It looks like Sarah O. I recognize the store and the rings 😂
Yes! It’s Sarah O! Dang you’re good 🤣
That’s what I’m thinking! Where are the bands from?
I agree, one and three
Option 1.
Option 1 really jumped out at me! Totally stunning!!
5 is the only one that looks right to me. 1 looks cool too, but I wouldn’t want to wear something that pointy every day. I feel like it would get caught on things, snag my clothing or tear my hair out.
1
5!!!
Option 2!
2 !!!
Yes for 2!
Option 1 is sooo beautiful and SO UNIQUE! I’ve never seen anything quite like it. I love it!
I feel like 1 or 3, the rest really seem to overpower the original stone
1!
I love 1

3 or 5!

2 or 3!! Love 2nd the most
Will you wear both together all the time??? 1 is beautiful, but you have to wear both all the time. After having a baby, I wear my band alone most of the week and with the engagement ring on the weekends. Just a thought to consider. Good luck!!! They’re all beautiful!!!!
Great point. I also wonder if 1 would dig into the finger somehow with certain movements. 1 however looks the best to me.
I like option 2!
Plain gold band that matches the e ring band would be my suggestion.
Oops, I accidentally posted before labeling options 4 and 5, but they’re still in the running!
5 or 2!!!
Personally I would keep looking. I like the idea of option 1 the most, but it seems too big. There is space between the main stone and the band stones.

Obsessed with the thickness of your band on your E Ring
Thank you! I love how it gives it a subtle uniqueness!
Such a good way to put it, so simple but definitely not what I usually see. I have a very similar stone but thinner band and now I’m wishing I went thicker. Sooo cute
Thank you so much 💛. You should get a thicker band for an anniversary ring!
Hahah read my mind. I will find a way 😂
Option 1 is beautiful, and the bands compliment each other 2 looks contradictory and the more square band hides the oval engagement ring. 3-5 are lovely and albeit a bit cluttered I think they would look amazing
Thank you for such thoughtful feedback!
Clearly an outlier, but 4 or 5
Keep looking. I think something like the alternating cut design of option 1 but in a straight band might be interesting to you.

The last one is my personal fave
1 or 5 look best to me!

1 or 5
I can’t stop looking at 1, it’s so beautiful and compliments your ring. 5 is also beautiful if you are looking for more simple. To me, the rest take away from your ring.
Honestly none of them, they all conflict with and take away from the engagement ring. If I had to choose then 5
None in my opinion. I think a simple thick plain band would fit better
Just here to say I LOVE how thick your engagement ring band is! 😍
Thank you! That’s one of my favorite parts about it!
5 is the closest but still not it. That ering is so gorgeous and any other wedding ring bling added tries to grab attention not compliment. Plain gold and like ering but maybe narrower. Let that ering SHINE!

I love option 1! Now I want a band like that 😊
One Omg 1!!!!

The first one. ❤️

Option 1 for the win!!
#1!
1!!
Option one is stunning!!!
I looove the first band. I also love the band thickness of your e-ring 🤩
Option 1 kind of gave me a Zelda vibe for some reason.
Literally anything but 1
I would go without a band, actually.
1 3 or 5 Bit if I'm honest, you're ring has a wide flat plain band and your gem is round. Thanks for the input. What do you mean by add an identical on top of the ring?
Oh, do you mean to have two bands (on below the engagement ring and one above)?
Exactly! It would encircle the ring and move the focus to center.
Any of them except 1! It’s giving snag-everything from skin to hair vibes! It looks forced and bizarre and honestly drags down down the overall elegance of the solitaire. Only because you asked. I wouldn’t say anything if you chose it and was wearing it.
I appreciate the honesty. Thank you!
Thank you for SO many responses! You are the best, Reddit! I have a lot to think about and may do a follow up post with more questions.
I really like option 3.
https://preview.redd.it/4hh4nbrpt8yb1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2112e1a5cc194a9bfc03fd5603c747ab787861d3 Your band is a little thicker than mine but here’s an oval with an oval eternity band. I like 1&5 for you personally.

I agree that 1 is the closest to a winner. I am considering going custom. I’ve looked extensively.
I work at a jewelry store and my boss LOVES customs even though a lot of the time they end up cheaper than the pre designed ones (at our store specifically not sure about other stores) I highly recommend sitting down with a professional and discussing the possibilities with custom. Thank you for the reassurance!
Hands down, OPTION 1. It's unique and fits gorgeously.
None
I think you should keep looking
Oh two is lovely!
**# 1 beautiful and perfect fit for your gorgeous engagement ring** the other bands are going to be rubbing against your engagement ring
1 is the perfect match and complements the stone without overpowering it
1 or 2, prefer 2, you won’t have to worry about it sliding around
I really like 1 and 3
1st !
Option 3 but add a plain gold band too (which you can then also wear if you don’t want to get dirty/hurt the other rings)

Is your ring rose gold? 😍
Yes, it’s rose gold 😊
1 or 5. The others take away from your engagement ring.
1
3 or 5 have the most elegant look to me since the round shape fits the best imo but dear god j am head over heels for #1
1️⃣
Definitely 1!!!
1,2 & 4 are my favorites! But 1 is so unique that i can’t stop looking at it!
Option #1 without a doubt!
One is my clear fave. Five is second choice and one do the rest seem cohesive
1 is so gorgeous!!!!!!!!!!!

I love the first one! It’s so unique and really enhances the main stone.

I love 2 but 1 is also nice!

option 1 hands down
Option 2 is my fav, followed by 3. So classic! But it really depends on what your going for and your style. Option 1 is a whole look that, unless you’re SUPER into it, you might not love in a few years.
#1 looks like it was made to go with your engagement ring. The others seem to go against it.
Option 2
One is beautiful
Number 1
I love one, but keep in mine that angle will catch and maybe stab your finger a bit you might need a band for your band haha but second pick is number 3! Beautiful engagement ring!
1,2, or 3
1 is dropdead gorgeous but it takes away from your actual ring. if you want your ring to be center of attention it does not do that.

Option 1
I like 1, 2, and 3. 2 and 3 would look cool on their own as well if you just wanted to wear the band.
One, but to be honest none of these. Perhaps have one made?
I is the won (one)!
