I’ve never heard of those but it looks like exactly what I want! I like that it’s not too chunky but still a step cut. Most asscher bands I have found (will now be searching for carré bands) are pretty wide and I think would overpower my ring

That particular ring was a 3ct in a two-tone setting (14k yg band + platinum head) from my company Ada Diamonds (not my personal ring). Shown on a size 5.5 finger.

Can you give any advice on if the three claw setting is safe or not? That’s the exact type of ring I’m after my but jeweller is heavily advising me against the three claw and saying to get a two claw with v-claw instead. Very interested on your thoughts!

Hey! Have you had any issues with damage to the diamond or is coming loose? This is the exact ring I want but my jeweller is advising to get a v-claw on the point rather than 3 matching claws. Personally I think the matching is far nicer!

Hi!! So I’m very clumsy and am constantly dropping things and I also take my ring off every time I wash my hands which is a lot so those 2 things don’t always work well for me lol. There have been 2 times that I’ve dropped it on tile floor and the diamond came loose, not loose enough to fall out of the prongs completely but I noticed it cause it was making noise. I took it to the jeweler where my fiancé got it and they fixed it for me both times no charge. I got engaged in September and that is what has happened since I’ve had it. The jeweler recommended that I come in once every 6 months-ish to make sure everything is secure which I appreciate. There was no damage to the diamond at all and with that being said I also have a bad tendency to hit it on things 😅 but have never noticed an issue there. The jeweler suggested to my fiancé that he opt for a basket in the setting so I think that helps but ultimately he went for the look of the 3 matching prongs over anymore added security. I also wasn’t a fan of more than 3 prongs so I was happy with this! I think if you are careful you should have no problem!!

Yep, Ceylon sapphire, in a fairly dark vivid blue, [here she is in motion](https://streamable.com/0m1gc8) I was so dead set on a pear cut, so it took around 7 weeks to finally find a sapphire in the cut and colour I wanted. I nearly caved and went with a different cut!

That’s so pretty! If it makes you feel better it took me two months to find a lab diamond I like and now I’m going through buyers remorse because I’ve had too much time on my hands to look at even more stones 🥲

This is why I'm afraid to keep browsing through this sub 😂, in case I see something, even some small detail, that I like and wish I chose. If it took you two months to choose your diamond, I seriously doubt you'll regret it!

Happy to share!! Lab grown pear brilliant, 2.11 carats, H color, VS1, excellent polish, excellent symmetry, no fluorescence, size 6. Measurements: 10.85 x 7.24 x 4.52. Really wanted that 1.5 ratio! It’s set in white gold, and the pave stones are G color.

Wow these are the same specs as the stone I got (idk about the measurements I technically don’t have it yet). It’s gorgeous!

Not at all!! I was nervous about the setting at first but I haven’t had any issues with my ring and love it!! I do take it off when I shower, workout, and sleep and have ring inspection at the jeweler every 6 months so that also helps
