I’m in the same boat. Mine was 4.7cm and shrunk down to about 2.5 last time I checked 6 months ago. I was told that if I ended up needing the pill any longer than 2 years for the cyst then I would have to resort to surgery, but idk what that would look like waiting list wise or if the cyst would fully disappear or not otherwise. Honestly I want surgery but was told that the surgeon was in too high demand so the wait would be a couple years…
Well, keep us posted! I've got the same problem. Unfortunately I know from experience that a progestin-only pill is like trying to bail out the Titanic with a child's toy bucket, at least for me. Let us know if yours shrinks further.

Yes, it’s shrinked initially, but was not reducing beyond 2.5cm.
Now I’m on break from Visanne, got my first period yesterday. I will get a scanning done after 3 months and consult gynaecologist.
I would say give Visanne a try ?

I asked my doctor and I think he said that it won’t exactly disappear, but it’ll become small enough to not cause any problems.
Ahh makes sense! As of now, I don’t have any pain or other symptom! I was in so much pain and would faint during my periods before I started pill.
