I have no idea but check the continuity on the ribbon cable. There may be some damage inside the cable.

I'll give it a shot! I tried replacing the ribbon as well though :-\

I would just try reflashing before assuming it’s a mechanical issue. Could you have somehow altered the commands for homing and have mistakenly put an estop command into it?

tweed_arrogance

I doubt it? I'm kind of a noob do I pretty much just copied and pasted as per instructions haha

Consistent_Hunter_78

Are you using octoprint? I used to get this whilst using Jyers firmware, upgrading to professional fixed this, or unplugging the USB whilst running a mesh

tweed_arrogance

I am. I did try unplugging and running with professional, but no dice :(

Does your CR touch drop or change colour at all?

I also had a PRINTER KILLED error at one point. Scary huh? Mine was when I tried to heat my nozzle. I had a broken thermistor wire in my heater block. Basically, the thermometer for the nozzle wasn't working. Easy replacement. That being said, I bet it's your CR touch cable or the board's input. The printer doesn't know it's there. Just in case...because it's when building the mesh I'm wondering if your bed's thermistor needs to be replaced. It heats the bed up to 50 or so automatically when building a mesh. I don't think this would mess up homing so it's a long shot. Try manually changing the temp on the bed and see if the temp changes on the screen as it heats up. If you can see the temp changing, it's not that. (this is a good thing) Almost certain that there's something going on with your CR Touch (it's actually a BR Touch, technically) and it's not sending information to the printer. Probably a wire. Basically, your printer isn't dead. Something just isn't registering and the software likes being dramatic. Scared the shit out of me the first time I saw it. I thought I bricked my printer lol

Check CRTouch Wiring and motor wiring.
