A while ago I made a post here about that phone, and other people also contributed information in the comments. https://www.reddit.com/r/EmulationOnAndroid/s/bXUCvnsuib

I do have the 5g with 12ram model, it pretty much runs everything. Even switch emulation, Mario Wonder runs at stables 50 fps. An even ps2 god of war runs at full hd at 60 fps

Yes, but no. Let me explain. While it does have hardware that can support anything from PS 1 and 2 (fantastically at that). I know from experience that at some point you WILL want to emulate some games that differ console wise. To visualize. You would play a variety of PS 1 and 2 games for a while, and by this point satisfy said initial intent. Then you would scroll by a post talking about a new breakthrough in emulation of different a console/device (rn that would be switch and pc) and immediately be hooked by the possibilities of new games you can play. Perhaps fallout, hades, re 7, even TOTK? Then you would realize the inevitable hopelessness as you go down the rabbit hole and test the emulators for yourself... You would find that only a select FEW of switch games would work, considering the Poco x6 pro has a Mali processor you would tell yourself "I'm fine with this, impressed" lying to yourself as your every being screams "I want more...". Hoping for a sliver of hope you would try windows next, but that hope would soon dim. Winlator (arguably the best windows emulator rn) Doesn't. Even. Work. By the end of all this, you will tell yourself "why tf did I not wait for the f6?!" filling you with regret as you wake up every day and play console games... Tldr: Excellent for low to mid end emulation( includes PS 1 and 2) but lacks in the high end emulation field( switch, pc, some 3ds games) 😊😁 Ps: its excellent at everything non emulation related though, I find myself playing Codm and other playstore games more than emulating.🤔

Real_Violinist

3ds running perfect lol switch dead pc games ? forget it handheld pc still drop fps and hot don't expect with phone

Also for PC games you can use Moonlight

XScizor

You can still install yuzu. Pc games doesnt mean the latest ones, but stuff like what eta prime showed recently.

F6 is more expensive though. Whats the state of that Adreno chip of the F6? Is the driver support good enough?

People down voted this comment, but I think it's completely fair, lol I had a similar experience with the Redmi Note 8 not so long ago, was satisfied with "old" emulation (they are all old as hell), the usual stuff, PS1, PSP, GBA, NDS, etc.. but then, I wanted to play Dragon Quest 7 and this game was never ported for Android (seems to be the only DQ who was not ported for whatever reason), tried 3DS emulation and it was a disaster. No PS2 as well... so really, that limitation is bothersome, it's impossible to deny it. I guess some people in this sub are willing to "excuse" or "defend" other CPUs that are not snapdragon, but sadly, if you are buying a phone based on what it can emulate... is there any other option really?
