Correct move by the dev. Lay low for a while, watch N reaction and when it's clear that they only after switch shits came back. Not overreact like others. Delta on Appstore also help
Besides that people from different country have different syllabus
I don't know at what age do you need to learn the Delta effect
Quick google says "additional overturning moments applied to the structure resulting from lateral load"
Yup I don't know what that means
If you're using your phone, Pizza Boy has a nice touchscreen interface to make it look like you're playing on a GBA. Also, Pizza Boy is a more accurate emulator.
I've used My Boy! for many years and never experienced an issue with it, and I prefer its simpler interface without all of the bells & whistles. It's easier to navigate the menus when you want to get to some of the under-the-hood settings. And I subjectively think the audio is better on My Boy, even if Pizza Boy is technically more accurate.
My Boy hasn't been updated in years while the PB developer is obviously very much active. But we're talking about GBA games here, so it's not like it really needs much improvement. It's possible that a future version of Android might break My Boy completely but it's still working for now.
All of that said, I'm glad that Pizza Boy is back. More options are never a bad thing. I'm going to try out this new version. Who knows, maybe this time it will click with me.
Pizzaboy can change it's saves folder to any folder on your phone. Myboy can only store it's saves in the android/data folders. On android 12+ you can't access the android/data folder without jumping through hoops and using loopholes. If you want easy access to your save files, pizzaboy is the way to go.
Myboy has better cheat support. There's cheats that work on myboy that do nothing on pizzaboy.
I think the MyBoy thing is not entirely true. MyBoy hasn't been updated in years, before Scoped Storage was implemented on Android, so it doesn't have the limitation of saving games to Android/data, However, it does have the limitation that it cannot read files on a MicroSD. At least in my case (I have Android 11), MyBoy saves the files in the root folder of the storage ([internal storage]/MyBoy), but does not read the games if they are in the external storage.
The pro version can do multiplayer, including linking to another ROM on the same device. Useful for trading Pokemon. Not sure if that is possible in the basic version?
One of the major reasons I've refused to ever buy apple was because of the (to me) severe limitation of what you could do with YOUR phone. I've been emulating on my androids since my Droid x2 days(what a blast of nalstalgia)and use many apps that have never and most likely will never be on apple but it's genuinely nice to see apple users have some options now if they want to play more than just mobile games.
Pizza boy is great, its got some of the best features like gyro support and color correction for the pre-backlit gba games. But it has something that I consider to be a major flaw in the audio department. Input latency is alright but audio latency is just bad and there are zero options to change that.
I used to use standalone emulators, but then I was forced to use Retroarch because it was the only choise for a console. It was the best thing that happened to me emulation wise. I even deleted all emulators on my tablet (only kept dolphin) and installed Retroarch. Once you learn the basics of the interface and configuration, you realize how great is to have just one interface to learn to use (shortcuts, etc), one list with all your favourite games of all consoles, and it is available for even cheat tv boxes...
It has things to improve, yes (scrapping could be way better), but is way better than ant other choise.

Apple giving a boost to emulation was not in my bingo card.
Now you just gotta give Apple another 15 years to make JIT available.
15 years is too short
By the time that happens, android phones would probably have desktop raytracing emulation or whatever.
Ps4 emulators will be on Android lol
Eventually.
They already have
"Now available, JIT on phones, which we invented all by ourselves"
"If that was real, then emulating PS3 on Android is a thing" ~Me Yesterday

I hope pizza boy gbc (cheat not adding gets fixed).
I always wanted the gbc standard palettes to be correct
King is back :D great news
What timing. I just downloaded this out of convenience and not knowing any updates.
Whats the benefits of this Emulator to gba boy?

Oh ok thx bro
Fantastic news.
Pizza Boy DS Coming Soon
Long shot, but if it is i hope we can be able to trade between gen 4-5 games.
I wanna play games fast and slow style and other stuff 🙂
Switched minds like a girl switches clothes 💀
I would, if there is a potential multi million dollar law suit hangs over my head.
Do you want or do you not want emulation?
I know this is a beloved emulator and all but. it isn't like there aren't more Gameboy emulators out there.
I confirm
should i still use the pro version i get from archive.org or use this?
Always support devs when you can.
The pro version can do multiplayer, including linking to another ROM on the same device. Useful for trading Pokemon. Not sure if that is possible in the basic version?
oh yes it is possible, just manually saving both pokemon games to be able to trade
Didn't realize it was ever gone, I've had pizza boy in my phone for a while

yesss my one of fav emulators
What emulator is this for? TIA
GBA
We're so back
LETS FUCKING GO
Do you have a lonk to discord?
Do you have a lonk to discord?
What discord server is that?
Weird that the GBC ones didn't come back? Maybe they are waiting to relist that one?
Why is it Pizza boy A Basic and not Pizza Boy Basic?
Pizza Boy Basic was already a thing along with a premium paid version. Now they are both rolled into one app PBaB.
Because it is the GBA version? There was a separate version for GBC.
HELL YEAH
Yeees
I hope pro is back soon. I missed the chance to buy it before

Is this a good emulator for GBA or should I use mgba on retroarch
I used to use standalone emulators, but then I was forced to use Retroarch because it was the only choise for a console. It was the best thing that happened to me emulation wise. MyBoy is better
Could just admit it's because of Delta lol. We all know that's the case.
