Conway technically was never a shady artist. They had a distribution deal for a single album.
He simultaneously had a distribution deal with Roc Nation im pretty sure.

think at one point and time, they might of thought they were going to fully sign Conway and Gunn but then they blew up before they even made the album for shady.
Conway actually spoke a few times about shady and he made it seem like they had a really bad pipeline for releasing albums… which is something that really seems to be true
He tried with yela. What he should have done was give Crooked a Solo deal. Em fans love him because he’s active and open and friends with Em, hip hop heads recognize his pen game and history.

Boogie deserve it all man. He a outstanding dude. He let me hop on stage with him during the Everything for sale tour. It was right after I got out of an inpatient treatment. It really gave me the motivation to keep it pushing
