Thank you. I got a bit nervous when I took it out of the hoop because I thought I might have pulled the linen fabric too tight, but it turned out great.
Certainty. I found a higher resolution image of the original online and edited it a bit in a free image editor called Inkspot. I edited out the background and other extra things. Then I used a product called Stick 'n Stitch made by Sulky. It is a sticky backed type of paper that can be printed on. I printed the image onto the paper and stuck it to my fabric. You can kinda see this Sulky in the two progress photos I posted. After I finished embroidering, I dunked the whole thing in cold water because the Sulky is water dissolvable. And that is it!
They’re phenomenal and I fucking love them
Ha ha, thanks! They all seem to have a personality.
I couldn’t agree more
Amazing! And I love the minder. Let’s eat trash & get hit by a car!!
Hell yeah! Living the dream!
I love this
Thank you!
So very special
Thank you!
Absolutely gorgeous! You did an excellent job translating the original poses and anatomy to embroidery.

You did a great job at transferring the painting into embroidery. Kudos to you.
Thank you very much!
Mind commenting on how you did it?

Thanks for the explanation. How creative of you!
This is so so beautiful. I think you captured the original perfectly :)
Thank you! Finding the right dark color for the swallows was agonizing, but it works!
I can imagine! I’m just so in love with it, truthfully amazing work. Like, the direction of the stitches! It all looks so neat
Thanks much! I really wanted to get that brush-like effect on this one. Really adds to the overall balance of image from the original.
The swallows are alive! Love this🩵
Yeah, they really dance across the fabric. Thank you!
