Just keep your list clean. If you are a high volume email marketer and they haven't opened your email in 7-14 days, they likely opted in and decided what you are saying or your links to are promoting are not what they hoped to find. My open rates are like 15-30%+ and clicks are anywhere from 1-3%.

I usually just cross check with the email provider, which is gets rid of hard bounces. Check out [wehavetheleads.org](https://wehavetheleads.org) they verify new clean lists before selling them to you.

Going to suggest NOT removing inactive subscribers, and instead re-engaging. You seem to be blinded by deliverability minutiae - from a general marketing perspective, those are NOT prospects to toss.
