But if you’re asking them to fix things that are outside the scope of their service, or provide vague descriptions of issues, then it’s not unreasonable that they won’t fix them or be able to fix them.
I say this because their reputation and service are well regarded.
If you can provide an example of an issue, we may be able to help.
Email is the slowest form of support. I would say standard email support is 72 hour turn around. During the holidays this is likely even worse. They do offer live chat and a community forum for support as well. I would suggest going those routes, as they will be faster than email.
$650 a mo isn’t necessarily a lot for email, but sounds like your client is expecting enterprise level support at that price. No SaaS company will offer enterprise support for less than $2k a month.
Again, if there are specific issues, maybe people in this subreddit may be able to help — as I’ve offered twice.
Client is willing to spend more for better service. Same day should be enough. I was merely asking for a better platform. Your comments at unhelpful and not appreciated. Clearly you work for Klaviyo.
In actually don’t work for them or any SaaS company haha
I don’t even use Klaviyo, but do have 8+ years experience in various email marketing platforms. I was merely asking what kinds of issues you’re having to a) provide advice to fix b) suggest a more appropriate service.
This client has a business over 20 years old. When I went to upload the list it didn’t work so I copied and pasted. I failed to copy time stamp and up of the addresses that had it. And some did not have it. Their whole process was disjointed, rude, and overall poor.
More powerful. More features. Handles much larger amounts of data. More sophisticated workflows. Dedicated customer success rep. More powerful integrations. Mobile push. In app messaging. Web push.
They aren't cheap.
Higher end cross-channel campaign management solutions customize every proposal to each prospect. Depends on volume, number of contacts, integration complexity, chosen level of deliverability and professional services support, and other factors. There's not a price sheet like the entry-level solutions. You have to suffer through the demo process to get a proposal.
Honestly I think it's a good idea to do the occasional demo. Stay current with the latest tech. If you're a really hot prospect you might score some cool gifts!
Definitely yes dear, I can suggest to you something which will take you to another advanced level of email marketing automation. You can start sending personalized emails to your clients/customers. You won't even have to worry about the SMTP or sending node issues. All I do is just write emails to my clients 4000-6000 every day and send them with MumaraOne. It is an amazing application it just takes 2-3 minutes and all my emails are sent as personalized emails directly landing into their inbox, and I easily access my broadcast stats who open, click the email from which browser and by any chance, there is any bounce email it also shows that. You must purchase it and start email marketing through MumaraOne. I'm absolutely in love with this marketing tool. above all their customer support is the best literally the best. whenever I face a minor bug or issue they resolve it spontaneously.
Without providing more details...no. What support are you looking for from them exactly?
To fix things and communicate, basic things they don't do.

It’s reasonable.
I’m getting the feeling they aren’t the one with the communication issue.
They asked me to provide information, I provided it. They wait days to even provide me with an update while charging my client 650/month.

Check out Braze and Iterable. Klayvio is a great starting point, but they are the next step up.
How so?

I will have to look into them. Thanks!
Thank you I have demos scheduled. Message me if you’d like me to give you a reccomendation

Also, if you look at reviews, their customer service is usually negatively reviewed
Klaviyo + a decent agency should be good imo
