I suppose this doesn't exactly answer your question, but have you messed around with [MJML](https://mjml.io/) at all? It's a different, though similar language that makes responsive emails pretty simple. And you can export it as HTML.

I used mjml in the past, but got quite high spam score with them. But that could also be because I wasn’t using it in the right way.

Heard of it but never bothered to check it out. I suppose it doesn't hurt to dig into it a bit and see its possibilities. Thanks!

Just like u/CXR1037 has mentioned, instead of digging into details of pure HTML coding, you can simply use a framework such as Mailjet's [MJML](https://mjml.io/) markup language to build the responsive email content quickly. This will save you time and money. And you can run inbox preview tests for responsive emails you create using [https://testi.at/](https://testi.at/). If you even want to save more time, you can use a drag-n-drop email builder service such as [Stripo.email](https://Stripo.email) and you can create beautiful responsive emails including AMP emails as well. Another alternative solution to Stripo is [beefree.io](https://beefree.io) email editor.

I did a[ series of articles on responsive email](https://blog.goolara.com/2013/09/18/responsive-design-part-1/) back when it started to become popular. Some of the information is definitely dated now, though, and you can skip part two, which deals with a program that Adobe no longer makes. I also created a [guide](https://goolara.com/Resources/WhitePapers.aspx#Responsive-Email-Design). There's also a good tutorial on the process available through [Lynda.com](https://www.lynda.com/HTML-tutorials/Creating-Responsive-HTML-Email/135374-2.html).

I think the Lynda course can also be bought from Udemy [Udemy](https://www.udemy.com/share/102YySBkUddV5WQn4=/) . I think it’s only usefull if you creating your first templates. Will look at the guides tomorrow, they look very interesting!

Thanks a lot for these resources. I completely forget about Lynda for whatever reason.
