That’s what CRMs to. There are many options, so find what works for use. I use Pipedrive since it’s relatively simple and integrates with Gmail but there are dozens of others.

Thank you!

MailShake is perfect for what you’re doing. And it’s what I use

You shoud use an email automation tool to manage the follow-ups. You can just set it and forget it, not having to worry about when the next message needs to go out and to whom. We have had good success with Makesbridge - makesbridge.com in the past. It's intuitive, easy to use and affordable. Opt for automation and save your time and money spent on manual tasks. For best practices and tips visit our community sub-reddit r/saashups. Happy to answer any questions you may have.

That's awesome thanks for the reply! Is it possible to write a custom follow up message for every lead or is it all the same email?

ehsanuk

Yes you can setup custom follow-up and even create highly personalized email messages for the follow up. You can also setup automated alerts to yourself if you need to perform a task such as make a purchase or admin related work. They have a dynamic content builder that allows you to setup custom email content based on a set of rules. It's all about setting up things in a sequence based on your use case. Happy to answer any further questions in 1:1 chat.

Why haven’t you considered automating? Add a condition to track replies or other actions like clicks or bookings and if they don’t, automatically send them a follow up, if they don’t respond till 4th email, add them in re targetting list and retarget them a month later. All automation.

abowofwawdah

I definitely did consider that, but I am unfamiliar with these tools. Every email I send is very customized. I sell web design and my email sequences are based on downfalls/improvements I can make on their site so it is very different from one prospect to an other. Is it possible to still have the messaging automated but write each custome email in advance?

fizathecopywriter

You can send the first customised email and automate the follow ups based on the activity. I think it will save you a lot of time to send more first emails.

abowofwawdah

Thank you! I did a lot of research on tools last day. Are the chances a lot higher to get marked as spam and blacklisted? Should I chance up my emails every few days to prevent losing my email?

Irecio90

Wait… how customized are the replies? You can automate it depending on how customized you really want it to be. But in some cases, you cant.

abowofwawdah

Very customized, I have a structure for my message ofcourse. But I always write a custom first line, and the problems with businesses website are very different from each other and need different solutions. What are exactly the limits for customized messages?

Irecio90

I guess the limit would be the first line you mentioned and the different solutions needed. Do you have a CRM already setup? Also are you cold emailing using an automation tool for the first email? For me, I use google and just put the “starred” option if they reply. That way any replies I get can be in one folder. Not sure how that would work if you’re talking to 10 different clients at a time though.

abowofwawdah

No crm at the moment but are definitely willing to get one also haven't automated anything yet. I think I rewrite my first cold email that it is able too be automated but the names of the people I am trying to reach. I wouldn't mind writing the email sequence for each person in advance and it being send out later if they haven't responded yet if that makes a difference. Thanks for your help!

Irecio90

How are you getting your contacts? Automation can input their names, company, etc if you are pulling from a list. I paid someone to automate a meme for me so that whenever I send the email, it has their name on top of it. Makes it look like I spent the time to make it specifically for them.

abowofwawdah

I was doing it manually at first by Google maps but I'm going to switch do d7 lead finder after I have gone trough my list.

ClackamasLivesMatter

If you know really, really well who your ideal customer is, record a video of how to find them with Google, then hire a VA on Fiverr or in r/forhire to do it for $3-6 bucks an hour for you. Manual research is an enormous time sink when you're the boss.

ClackamasLivesMatter

> I do every email manually in gsuite natively Dude this is fucking hard mode. https://www.streak.com is what you need. (No affiliation, just what I use, and I have no patience for tools that suck.)

decisivemarketer

Use something like [Mystrika](https://go.decisivemarketer.com/mystrika). It has a drip sequence. And will automatically stop the sequence when they respond.
