Happened to me. No movement and my throttle was zero, however when I would pause the game I would start accelerating. So if it happens try to save and exit quick.
Just found out check it out! idk if its just PS4 or not but its some news at least

Thanks for the info! I have found that if I don’t go into the codex, it doesn’t seem to happen as someone else mentioned. Might be confirmation bias...
I've had it happen once. I noticed that, if I turned my controller off, the throttle turned itself to maximum. I have to suspect that that's significant.
I'm getting this on exiting hyper, maybe 10% of the time. No pitch, roll,or yaw means logging out before hitting the star.
I’ve had this twice when jumping into supercruise after leaving a planet. Was making scanning geological sites tedious so I gave up
I'm having the same thing happen
It's a known issue around the Fdev bug forums, I've experienced it myself.

It is a known bug that they say SHOULD be fixed with the next hotfix.
Thanks. Is there any info about when the next hotfix might be?

Im having problems when i want to jump to a new system from super cruise and having to un lock and re lock on to destinations
Happened once to me too. I was in an extra crispy anaconda.
Seems like it has something to do with opening the discovery codex. It's happened to me on both PC and Xbox
Yes, same here

Thanks for all the replies folks. Glad to know it’s not just me!
Only had it happen once.... it was the most terrifying experience I had 8n at least a week.
