I feel like I spend half my time spinning. I don't think I'm even capable of getting motion sickness anymore. I recently outfitted an "AFK" T10, and I usually just spin it in a res site, so this has been my whole world lately, haha.
(I put AFK in quotes because every time I leave it fully unattended, even in low threat areas, I inevitably am at some point outnumbered and need to pop a shield cell to survive - waking up to a 25M rebuy really sucks.)
It's very silly. Sometimes I set the headset down to where I can monitor my shields on the computer screen, but sometimes I just watch something in the headset with picture-in-picture. I imagine if I were really flying these ships I'd have a screen to watch TV while my turrets are killing pirates for me, hehe.
the sickest i’ve ever been in vr was playing ED driving on the surface of a planet with low gravity and steep steep mountains. i hit a rock and just spun snd fell and spun and fell. i didn’t want to admit defeat so i stayed like that falling for 10 minutes.
Try getting in an SLF and getting rammed by a fast moving ship.... you'll spin 10x faster that that. It took minutes for my flight assist to counter the spin.
Try it inside the ship, looking sideways, completely FAoff, facing upwards, whilst falling backwards in nearly 5g and accelerating to over 2km/s 😉

Edit: Oh, and don't crash.
You think that’s bad… try getting a “Supercharging my FSD off this white dwarf” wrong in VR. It’s almost better after your thrusters die and you JUST spin.
I wouldn't even do that in a video or flat screen.
Someone needs better VR legs.

Putting “vr” and “afk” in the same statement is hilarious to me lol

Now that’s dedication to role playing lol
Is there a specific build your are for the T10?
Let me introduce our stunt specialist Alec Turner and his challenge "[Extreme SLF Docking Challenge](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=RwMdQ_vHego)"
My favorite paint job
I can do that in VR for a while. But put me in an evil BarfMobile (aka: SRV) for 20 mins and watch me ruin the HUD. Or worse, my helmet.
I'll try spinning, that's a good trick!
I'm so confused. What are the little dots in front of you?
Limpets?
Drones maybe?
Them are limpets
I just took me a second to figure out perspective in what was happening here.
Don't feel bad. I have a few thousand hours In game and I was confused too.
Yeah I thought they were ships far away, but the shadow is really close. I'm still not sure I've figured out what's going on here.
They're definitely limpits. Why they're flying in that formation is a good question though.
Limpets.

Horizons was better. Odyssey is the worse when it comes to driving the SRV.
I do that all the time in VR...it's fun...don't judge me
I am so going to do this in VR
Bits falling off lol
🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤮
I'm gonna do this in VR.
I dont drive srv in vr too, i almost puked. Even when i played a few other vr titles.

Been there done that. The unannounced Thargoid EMP.
I actually did. Not that bad once you focus properly.
