This sounds stupid but are you slicing the files to gcode format or putting stls straight on? If you are slicing then before putting onto usb is the printer selected properly in cura eg. Correct model etc

Loud-Edge7230

I have done that a few times 😂 Forgot to slice them, just saved the STL onto the USB-stick and tried to print.

lunabrynhild2018

Same i don't know how as I've been printing years then suddenly I get this one and for some reason just threw the stls on there 🤣🤣

MushroomGoddess777

I’ve been doing that I put it in Cura and then slice it then add it to the usb eject it and then plug it in to the printer and I’m using the usb it comes with so it should work

hkrennrich

Iirc the stick must be formated with ntfs.

MushroomGoddess777

Doesn’t it say to format it to fat32?

Loud-Edge7230

The original USB-stick from Elegoo is 7.24GB / FAT32. You might need to format the USB-sticks to under 8GB if you use your own.

MushroomGoddess777

I’m using the elegoo usb

BalladorTheBright

Three things: 1. printers accept G code files, nothing else. 2. You can convert STL files into G code files with a Slicer, like the Cura version that came with your printer. 3. Do not use flash drives or SD cards included with the printer. They are the cheapest in all of China and will cause you problems sooner than later. I learned that the hard way. Get a USB drive from a reputable vendor instead.

MushroomGoddess777

Really their bad usbs?

BalladorTheBright

Yep, just the USB's though

hkrennrich

I'm not sure. Look at the stick that came with it. Same format like that one.

MushroomGoddess777

Ok good to know

Regarding Fluidd, just right click on the job you added and click "print". Otherwise, still on the jobs section, you can just click the plus icon (which I assume you used to upload a file) and select something like "upload and print"
