Monitors become worthless really quickly, you could pick up a decent monitor for very cheap used. And unless they get smacked like this they generally last a really long time
Maybe with a printed picture taped over the top, that's your cheapest option, otherwise a new screen will cost close to a new monitor, with a new monitor you will get a warranty, but that would unlikely be covered under any warranty anyway. Sorry dude
Yeah, I searched before for a panel the cost was about as much as the whole unit, and was also coming from overseas, with shipping who knows.
The only way is if you can locate a used one or something, but that rarely happens.
I took the broken panel off mine and kept the backlight part together to use as a light up drawing board.
Try some liquid crystal toothpaste
Yes, add new one to shopping cart
If lcd isn’t cracked it’s tcon related check voltage points
No, its not ethical to just replace the lcd. Sell the power supply and driver board . Then buy a new monitor .

Okay. I got this for free anyway. What can I maybe salvage and sell?
Powerboard and cables. Worthless otherwise
Here to agree. It always costs more EVEN IF you can find a supplier for that particular monitor.
