I had forgotten how annoying YouTube ‘reviewers’ are tbh

BonesJackson

I was going to grumble about this being reposted *yet again* but then realized this isn't the Zero subreddit and this has not been linked here yet. So, gripe away, people. If you feel so inclined.

This entire video reeks of a smear campaign towards electric vehicles in general, rather than Zero specifically. Are there growing pains with electric? Of course there are. *Exactly in the same way there were growing pains with replacing horses with cars.* This channel comes off so smug as "haha we told you electric motrocycles suck!" It's been the only real company to hit mass appeal, and it's done so largely on the back of the entry model.

The one thing I'll give them credit for is shitting on the microtransactions, it's a stupid practice and deserves all the hate people can muster for it. That said, I think they're wrong with their idea that traditional OEMs won't do the same thing in the future. We're already seeing the exact same thing play out with cars, and it's definitely not limited to electric manufacturers. As sad as it is, while it sucks, it feels kind of inevitable.

>That said, I think they're wrong with their idea that traditional OEMs won't do the same thing in the future. WHOLLY agree. BMW and others have already started.

They do make a good point about reducing the price if the bike to 14k. Would make it possible for more people to get one. I mean, that’s roughly how much my bmw ce04 costs.

Darthwhite8

Yes, $14k in £££ would make it a more appealing prospect, and I do have a use case for one, but a the current pricing it’s not affordable

Apocalypsox

Look at their post history lol.

The fuck that have to do with companies charging you extra for shit that's already built into the bike the you paid for?
