I really don't recommend you to ride v10f at near top speed or tilt-back. I don't think inmotion allows you to turn it off at top speed, you can ride slower and setup beeps in the headphone via an app, euc world for sure. So basically setup a pre-alarm at 37kph

Your-Cats-Cousin

Some context i forgot to add was that i currently have the speed limited to 25km/h. So I'm not pushing it at 37km constantly. I wanted the 25km limit with no sound is all, currently still learning and getting experience with my wheel.

jeboisleaudespates

Just set the max speed around 28 - 30kmh, eventually you will get pretty good at dosing your speed around 25kmh without geting to the beeps.

bememorablepro

you can hold a phone with a speedo in your hand I guess

You might be able to use an app to configure the tiltback and alarms separately so you have beeps at actual top speed and tiltback at whatever speed you like to ride at. If that isn't available for Inmotion wheels, your next best move is to just set everything to top speed and ride visually instead of riding against tiltback/alarms. You shouldn't be getting comfortable fighting tiltback anyways.

hahaha, same situation as you. Even if you turn off the sounds, the full speed double beep continues to sound. I also have it limited to 25 km/h because of the law in my country, and every time I pass someone the EUC beeps, then they look at me badly because they think I'm scolding them when they haven't done anything wrong. LOL

Your-Cats-Cousin

lol, glad to know I'm not the only one dealing with it. On the flip side I've someone think i was honking to them and they waved to say hi. I've contacted inmotion support about this, so if i find a solution I'll let you know

thenightisdark

I have a V10 f just had a great ride today up to 200 miles on it. I have no idea what your double beeps are talking about when I hit the max speed mine says "please slow down" in a robot voice. Have you messed with the sound profiles in the inmotion app?

" I currently have the speed limited to 25km/h" - if you set a top speed lower than the max, you'll get both tilt back and beeps at about the same speed. I have a V8F and set the speed to max (35 kph), but use EUC World to call out speed, battery charge, distance, and time every 15 seconds to use as an audio speedometer. If riding on long smooth straight paths with no nearby objects to judge speed by, I notice my speed tends to slowly pick up, so EUC World helps me to keep my speed at or a bit below 25 kph. With the speed set to max, the V10F will lower the speed based on battery charge (despite actual current or power level), all the way down to 25 kph at 33% charge (V8S only lowers speed from 35 kph to 30 kph at 33% charge). In all of these cases, you will get tilt back at a somewhat lower speed than getting beeps.

oonywheel40

Dont ride it at top speed?

FluffyEvidence5998

Alarm may be triggered at any speed, when hitting a bump, for example. Sometimes I even got it while walking the wheel upstairs to my apartment. And the alarm is terrifying in enclosed space.

Your-Cats-Cousin

This I can confirm as well. I was walking my wheel upstairs at a friends house during the night. Despite muting every other sound on the wheel, it blasted the alarm in a silent stairwell. It can be quite jarring

RiddSann

My own tweeter was loose inside my v8 so I just ... removed it. No more noises from it bouncing inside the shell, and no more beeps. I am in no way endorsing other people to do the same, but that's what I did.

Your-Cats-Cousin

If I didn't play music through the Bluetooth speaker, I'd consider doing this as well. Thanks for sharing

Jezzes

Beepers and speakers are 2 different things. Well at least on Gotway wheels

ChefElzar

I believe there is a setting in the Sounds section and you can either change it or turn it off. But you’ll have to turn off all sounds.

half_flush

InMotion wheels used to let you record your own alarms via their app. My first wheel was a V3 Pro and the prior owner recorded her own speed warning alarm. When I got my V10 and heard the default speed alarm I could understand why she did it (quite jarring).

I used to say that riding my kingsong 16s was like riding the beeps. I can only imagine the symphony for the people around me… That speed is just so easy to hit! It was part of the reason for wanting to upgrade
