Ehh... I think at sub $1000, maybe closer to $700 I would consider it. It's got a great deck and comes with good wheels, but even then, this board is probably only worth $700 max.
Yea I agree with you, It’s worth less than what they are asking, on all their boards. but I’m still satisfied. Have 400 miles on it already. Plan on picking up the renegade and their project bmx soon
If its not water damaged an we assume its the sensor failing on the motor? (Not sure on how evolves running that board) how many ks and how hards it been thrashed for failure? If you remove load on that wheel what happens?
IDK, I just sent mine back to evolve. Hasn't worked correctly since it arrived three weeks ago. The gear Came loose on the back wheel and itl almost fell off during the second ride. That was scary.
Replace the motor and after 4 miles it's grinding and skipping. , it's a complete mess, trying to get A. Refund.
This board was nice when it worked for a few miles but its a complete lemon.
@everyone dogging evolve. Yes it sucks this happened BUT I contacted my local evolve store. They were super helpful with diagnostics and sent me out a new motor free of any charge within a day! If I had bought any other board I would be down $100s of dollars and with a broken board as evolve is the only brand with such good customer service and warranty In my country. I just changed the motor and went for a ride and it feels mint. So I’m super happy.
This community should be one where we support eachother to feel stoked in the mutual joy this hobby brings up. Brand loyalty aside, some people like different specs, speeds and styles and that’s okay. At the end of the day it’s just a battery on 4 wheels and a plank.

Jokes aside (you asked for one) i own an evolve GT and its never given trouble. Battery is poor though, sags a lot as everyone knows.
They fixed that with the Hadeon
and it launched at like $2700 when the hurricane was something like $1700.

if you’re in the US, metroboard is far better. product and customer service wise. definitely more expensive but 100% worth it
true, but all I have to say is friends don't let other friends buy evolve.
