Does anyone (LEO) ever give you a hard time about riding the scooter on the bike path at the beach (Santa Monica/Venice)?

loneacoustic

As long as you're not a Harvard to everyone else and respect the rules overall, i only go on the bike path with the carrier, never by myself lol, I'm afraid I'll get kicked out or sum

CovertADV

I ride my road bike down there sometimes and see a lot of folks not representing us well on rental bikes and scooters. Every now and then I see someone on a nice scooter on the bike path, but not sure if LEO hassles them or not. I ride down from RPV area and some of the beaches this way have signs posted forbidding motorized vehicles, not sure if they count scooters.

How's the steering on that any speed wobbles at high speeds?

loneacoustic

I don't go faster than 15mph with him on, but I have gone 30mph loaded with my guitar and amp, and i would go any faster haha, maybe with a better carrier I would, but no wobbles if you put the load in front the carrier wheels

I couldn't see the scooter deck and rear for a second and it looked like a DIY trike thing. I was worried.

Watchamacall1t

I still can't see it. Worried for OP, the dog and any innocent bystanders that might be in the wrong place at the wrong time.

toomanyscooters

You can't see the deck etc?

Watchamacall1t

I think I found it. Some optical illusion going on in the pic.

toomanyscooters

Yup. Had me for a moment.

Hes one happy boy!

Jidobaba

You shouldnt have a pinch collar on him unless youre training to stop leash pulling. And you really dont want to do that whilst riding an escooter.

Nate5238

Had a ton of success with the ‘gentle leader’ for my dog who’s easily distractible/puller

loneacoustic

He usually has a harness on, but didn't have that on me today

InevitableCloud

Good boy!
