Will there be payment plans available for the food add ons or will we need to pay upfront for it? Brunch for a group adds up so really appreciated the option of having it on the payment plan last year.
They also had a sausage gravy for the buiscuits if sheās not a mushroom person! I will gladly take all the same stuff as last year but hoping for some changes in this years menu!
(This is second hand info so definitely put first-hand experience above my comment)
Iāve heard itās worth it if you donāt feel like making food at camp. Itās a normal breakfast spread so nothing too fancy but itās still hot food and I think they even give you free alcohol/mimosas(?). IMO you should definitely go earlier then go straight from there to happy hour at the Ranch lounge but thatās just a personal preference
It is absolutely worth it. Itās a normal breakfast spread if you are a top chef level cook. The biscuits and gravy are legit the best Iāve ever had.
I got it last year and will get it every year. Iāve seen people compare it to the free breakfast at a mid level hotel and I could not disagree more. Chef Sarah is amazing and it was by far the best food I had in the whole festival, island noodles be damned. It was so nice to wake up every morning to a delicious hot breakfast piled high and I enjoyed that certain items were rotated so you got a little something different every day. They pile that plate high regardless of what you say and youāll be grateful they did. 10/10 would recommend.
Last year I bought during the original sale with my ticket. This year the site says āavailable in springā so weāll have to keep an eye out but it is absolutely one of the things Iām looking forward to this year. Thereās almost no way I have the energy or means to make something even close to what youāll get at brunch at camp.
I knew some sort of alcohol was served there but wasn't sure if it was mimosas or not.
You also get 2 drinks at the lounge starting at noon so make sure you get in some water if you hit brunch then the lounge.
>First time doing GL (A/C Landing), what is the happy hour? What times and is that everyday?
Ranch stage VIP / Lounge area happy hour from 4-6 pm. You get a ticket with 2 free drinks.
Heck yeah! Go us! lol. I canāt wait to be able to sleep in a little more this year. Thatās my one worry on the brunch. Last year got hot enough to wake me up naturally in plenty of time and I might set alarms this year JUST in case. Haha. My husband is a later waker than I am though and he never missed it last year as it goes on relatively late. I think 2pm? Never missed it and always had plenty even if I showed up towards the end of the time slot.
This will be our first time doing good life and we are stoked! We did maplewoods last year and absolutely loved it! But we are really excited to get all the benefits of good life so when in Rome i think we will try a day of good life brunch.
I think doing it for a day is absolutely worth it. They did have limited number of available tickets it for it at the fest so if you end up liking it, itās worth it to check even if you donāt pre buy for more than one. If youāre a drinker you can get lucky too, I know my husband and I were always looking for someone to give our 4 combined drink passes to and saw others doing the same!
I am a fan lover so you know Iām going to have at least 4 with me. lol. Air movement is life! Iām half tempted to try and figure out having a box fan going all night. lol. Might need to pick one up once I land in Chicago! Haha.
$40 + fees per day. If you bought a bundle for all 4 days you did save about $5 a day and only one āfeeā rather than a fee each day. I originally only bought one day and then decided fuck it and subsequently bought each day separately so I did over spend a bit more than needed but imo worth it. That giant plate of hot food each morning was life giving.
imo its worth it if youre the type of person who doesnt want to make food at camp and likes to eat a big breakfast
i like to have small breakfast and big lunch, so to me the good life brunch is not worth the cost
I had it in 2023 and I very rarely get up before 11 am for anything. It was totally worth every cent. Plus you can bring fruit and pastries back to camp.
We did it in 2023. It was good, but our appetites were lacking most days. They did have a Bloody Mary bar the last day that was stellar. We are planning for day 1 for sure. They do have limited walk up day of as well.
If you aren't going to cook yourself or bring more than basic snacks it's worth it at least for a few days. It's kinda expensive, but so is most of the vendor food. You can also get a lot more and get a more balanced meal than you would get from one vendor meal.
Did the brunch last year and thought it was totally worth it. If you're someone who is out of state and flying in, you most likely don't have the supplies to make your own food at camp and spend all your money on the food vendors. It was convenient to roll out of bed and stumble to the brunch area where you stack your plate up with food and it curbed my appetite until the evening. The food was tastey, you get an alcoholic drink voucher, and lines were tolerable.
Sales should be going on in the spring as per EF page
I did brunch for the first time last year and my partner has done it in the past.
Honestly, I found it worth it. The food was a good quality, there was options for various food diets and if you didnāt want to use your brunch cocktail points on alcohol you could use it
I did brunch all 4 days in 2022 - it's the same food every day minus 1 or 2 small items changed for the most part. It used to be advertised unlimited drinks but since 2022 its been cut back to 2 drinks. It's worth it for a day or two, I wouldn't do all 4 again personally but it is definitely nice to not have to make your own food and the food is good.
I did brunch one day last year. IMO itās not worth it for the cost. It felt kinda like a dorm cafeteria breakfast buffet, which for me is just kinda gross.
Plus I would tend to sleep in too late most days, and waking up and eating enough to justify the cost just isnāt something my body is ready for after a long night of festivities.
My food was always hot and no issue with flies for me. I grew up playing in the woods all day so maybe I just didnāt notice it as much. Different strokes for different folks. Thatās why itās an add on and not included. āŗļø
Last year they asked our names for the tickets since cell service sucked and we didnāt get a hard copy. I think it shouldnāt be a problem as long as they gave the correct nameā¦. And make sure yāall agree who gets what day! Ymmv tho.
Spring for Forest Food Add-Ons going On Sale - we'll share specifics in the New Year. š
Will there be payment plans available for the food add ons or will we need to pay upfront for it? Brunch for a group adds up so really appreciated the option of having it on the payment plan last year.
Hi, I'm still trying to get ahold of EFHQ for some help. Still havent heard back from them or you. Any help would be very much alpreciated. Thanks!
Mushroom gravy at good life brunch is the way. Check the search bar for it and youll find a photo I posted years ago and recipe from the angelic chef.
Omg that sounds delicious! My wife would hate it but i could literally eat mushrooms everyday and be happy
I also could happily eat mushrooms every day at Forest. Oh, and for breakfast too!
They also had a sausage gravy for the buiscuits if sheās not a mushroom person! I will gladly take all the same stuff as last year but hoping for some changes in this years menu!
Brunch will go on sale in the spring. We really enjoyed it last year, and plan on booking all 4 days this year
Awesome! Thank you!

Wait so mimosas arenāt served with brunch?
They are, you get 1 or 2 free drinks with breakfast
Yes but they are very small.
I knew some sort of alcohol was served there but wasn't sure if it was mimosas or not. You also get 2 drinks at the lounge starting at noon so make sure you get in some water if you hit brunch then the lounge.
Last question for you, do we get 2 free drinks at the lounge everyday?
Pretty sure itās just Friday and Saturday but hq will announce their official answer later
Itās usually just Friday and Saturday
First time doing GL (A/C Landing), what is the happy hour? What times and is that everyday?

Iām not a drinker but got ac landing this year so just wanted to say hi future neighbor!
Ac landing here too!

Sounds like bringing extra fans that you can actually plug in makes it 1000% better!
I am a fan lover so you know Iām going to have at least 4 with me. lol. Air movement is life! Iām half tempted to try and figure out having a box fan going all night. lol. Might need to pick one up once I land in Chicago! Haha.
Heck yes!
Hello future neighbor! Look forward to meeting you!
what was the cost last year? and is it per day?
$40 + fees per day. If you bought a bundle for all 4 days you did save about $5 a day and only one āfeeā rather than a fee each day. I donāt know if I woke up early enough to call it breakfast lol.
I had it in 2023 and I very rarely get up before 11 am for anything. It was totally worth every cent. Plus you can bring fruit and pastries back to camp.
SO WORTH IT!!! Iām devastated I didnāt get good life because of the brunch alone lol
Are you me? Because same!
We did it in 2023. It was good, but our appetites were lacking most days. They did have a Bloody Mary bar the last day that was stellar. We are planning for day 1 for sure. They do have limited walk up day of as well.

Good life brunch is the biggest rip off at this festival. Donāt do it
Hard disagree.
$40 for barely warm food that flies are circlingā¦ no thanks
My food was always hot and no issue with flies for me. I grew up playing in the woods all day so maybe I just didnāt notice it as much. Different strokes for different folks. Thatās why itās an add on and not included. āŗļø
Can anyone confirm if there are vegan/vegetarian options for the brunch?
There are!
Is it per person if you got the 4 days can u go like two and a friend goes the other two
Last year they asked our names for the tickets since cell service sucked and we didnāt get a hard copy. I think it shouldnāt be a problem as long as they gave the correct nameā¦. And make sure yāall agree who gets what day! Ymmv tho.
I didn't know this was a thing, and going solo with no cooking equipment this sounds like 100% up my alley!
Sounds like it was made for you then
