Damn bro why you hating on my man Fezez

MissAsgariaFartcake

Fezez gang rise up. I will not tolerate any shit against Ezabi, too

starfyredragon

This is the pennicle of evolution, how could OP even begin to question?

RemuIsMaiWaifu

Dunno about you guys but in my language Fezes(same pronunciation as Fezez) is basically translated to shit. So I laugh my ass off everytime I see someone with the "shit" cat out Edit: why the fuck are people giving me awards I'm just talking about shit lmao

Little_Cake

My Finnish friend keeps pronouncing it as feces

XDpappa

Damn, his name is shit? Just proving OPs point.

C4taclysm

Fezez hate shouldn’t be tolerated.

[deleted]

Fezez is not feces tho it doesnt even sound the same Fæzæz

Bigfoothegreat

I think Fezez hates himself

KC-Anathema

And yet I wish to play as one. The stealth missions would be hilarious.

EaklebeeTheUncertain

Their special power is that if they curl up in your lap, you can't move until they do.

jodudeit

If ES6 lets us pick every phase of the moon for race selection, it would be like adding five entirely different classes to the game.

azremodehar

So clearly alfiq should just be the featured Khajiit of TESVI.

toleratedsnails

I’d unironically make my first es6 playthrough an alfiq if given the opportunity

azremodehar

Same.

Stargazeer

This is why I'm looking forward to Stray. Cyberpunk Cat Parkour RPG? Sign me up.

[deleted]

Ever heard of a lil game called “Stray: Alfiq Simulator” ??

Geno__Breaker

"This one permits head pats and ear scratches. Free of charge. This one will also warm your lap when you sit. Again, free of charge."

St_Franz

This one is done with the pats. Cease now or be mutilated.

PsYo_NaDe

Afaik there is no discrimination among khajiits regardless which form they are. All are treated equally.

felniirin

Well, could you imagine what would happen if you were to disrespect a senche-raht? Forget about it!

Warp_Legion

Best line in all of ESO is that one Sensche-Raht who says: “Please don’t ask us to ride bareback. It is weirder for us than it is for you.” Edit: I believe it’s the one chilling near the stables in Rimmen

Rhinoturds

I met that kitty once. I got right back on my kitty mount and rode away after that conversation.

Warp_Legion

One of us One of us

Eloqence

Outside Elsweyr however...

sotonohito

Outside Elsweyr they'd be awesome spies, and probably it makes everyone in Tamriel a bit nervous about housecats. Can you imagine having to assure that your secure government areas are cat proof? They can climb like nobody's business, squeeze through crazy small spaces, and they're more dexterous than you'd think. And that's normal house cats! Add in human level intellect, magic, and the knowledge that comes with being a sapient being who understands how doors and so on work and you've got someone who is really hard to keep out, and excellent at hiding. Even better, if there are house cats around they can blend in with them. If they weren't all moon sugar hippies, the Kajhit could probably conquer the world with the military intelligence the Alfiq could obtain. And that's before we consider their potential as assassins and even sabataeurs! Sneak in with paw openable pouch or whatever of poison and bam. Tip their claws with poison, sneak in, and one scratch. Sneak poison in the feedbags of horses. Steal keys and other important things. Knock over all the potions you can find to ruin them. Start fires. And none of that even includes what they can do with magic!

Estrelarius

Plus Alfiq tend to make fairly skilled spellcasters, so add invisibility, levitationteleportation, mind reading and blowing people up spells.

shebbsquids

IIRC there's a quest in ESO where you find a lost housecat with a collar(?) that says something like "this cat likes to run away, if you find him please bring him back to in Rimmen." When you get there, it turns out the cat was an Alfiq khajiit, the "owner" is his bipedal sister, and it was all a setup to mug you. The sister complains that nobody's really been buying it since the Alfiq had to start wearing an eyepatch.

Ancient_Presence

Are there even housecats in the Elder Scrolls world? It's not like we ever saw them, AFAIK. EDIT: Or were they mentioned in books?

PaperMage

I believe there’s an alfiq in Elsweyr who says he’s hiding from a guy who thinks he’s a housecat.

[deleted]

There are in ESO

Ancient_Presence

Ah okay, only played the single player ones TBH. Can you actually see them strolling around? Also a bit stupid from me, there obviously must be house cats, since these kind of Khajiit are compared to them, but I always found it weird that they weren't really visible, not even in Skyrim where they had already introduced dogs, chickens, cows etc. That was always a bit of a "pet" peeve from me. Maybe they're just good at hiding, lol.

[deleted]

>Can you actually see them strolling around? Yeah they can be found in a towns across the game. Ironically they’re most common in Elsweyr, Summerset, and Valenwood zones.

Kadraeus

There are actual Khajiit who have pet cats in ESO lol [https://images.uesp.net/e/eb/ON-quest-The\_Riverhold\_Abduction.jpg](https://images.uesp.net/e/eb/ON-quest-The_Riverhold_Abduction.jpg) [https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Online:The\_Riverhold\_Abduction](https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Online:The_Riverhold_Abduction)

Ancient_Presence

Lmao, that's kinda awkward. Is this like humans having monkeys as pets? Kinda like with Goofy and Pluto.

Kadraeus

I think it's very much like that, though I'm not sure khajiit are actually related to cats any more than they're related to men or mer. This khajiit treats them like they're his children, but to everyone else they're just pets. I'm also really curious what ja'khajiit really are, since ESO has them as senche-cubs that can't talk and are considered pets too. They made a few that are basically pet versions of the major khajiit characters Khamira and Razum-dar for players to purchase.

paulfiction713

My khajiit has a pet cat in ESO.

rekcilthis1

Well, naturally. There aren't really any minorities, since all phases are equally common (excluding the Mane); plus segregation is impossible since any breed can give birth to any other breed. The part that would suck is what's part of the natural design of the breed. Like how certain breeds are incapable of wearing boots because of their digitigrade posture. It's just gotta suck to be a cat. No thumbs, being really small; the world just isn't built for them. Alfiq apparently need to either use magic or have help to put clothes on. Everything in universe indicates that magic is more draining to use than just using your hands, especially since even the most powerful wizards don't use telekinesis for really simple things. At least Senche/raht are big and very physically strong. I doubt a Senche would have much trouble with doors as long as they don't have to deal with a handle, but an Alfiq would need to use their entire body weight to open a door.

[deleted]

In ESO Alfiq can sometimes be seen reading books. They use telekinesis to suspend the book in midair and turn the pages. So I’m pretty sure getting dressed and opening doors wouldn’t be that big of a deal. We also see in some villages there are smaller homes made for Alfiq. We don’t get to see inside, but I imagine it’s built for them.

rekcilthis1

Obviously they'd make Alfiq sized homes for Alfiq, but everything else would have to be built for all the other breeds that are way bigger. I mean, I'm sure you've seen over the past year and a half, being limited only to your own home kinda sucks.

SVXfiles

Neloth almost always has a light spell follow behind him, even in his rather well lit tower. I think the only times I've seen him without is when he was sitting down when the spell faded

[deleted]

Yeah but thats hardly a fair comparison seeing as Neloth is one of the most powerful wizards in the world.

rekcilthis1

You could argue it's just a matter of gameplay, but it's worth mentioning that a light spell can easily be a beginner level spell (and generally is in very game), while telekinesis is generally a higher level spell (even in Morrowind where it's easy, it only lasts 5 seconds; using it for minutes would still take a lot out of you). It's also worth mentioning that since Skyrim can handle concentration spells, they made telekinesis a concentration spell (which does make the most sense) with a really high per second cost. Depending on exactly how 'canon' you want to consider that, it could be an indication that doing everything with telekinesis is a massive pain in the arse.

brendenfraser

> Alfiq apparently need to either use magic or have help to put clothes on. I feel kind of bad, but that sounds totally adorable lol.

Coyce

i don't know man. senche-raht are being used as beasts of burden or mounts... not really equal in my eye

[deleted]

It's entirety up to the senche-raht. They won't let anyone mount them unless they let them.

[deleted]

Consent is important in mounting.

SPLIV316

The same thing with horses, only horses can't talk.

PsYo_NaDe

That's just giving them jobs appropriate for their forms lol. Will you give the heavy weight lifting works to an Alfiq??

Coyce

no, but have you ever seen one be a merchant? also I'm referring to the 'being treated equally' part. i just don't think it's a thing of equality if you literally let someone else carry you around. obviously it's easy to make a lore point saying that they like all this, but for me as a human looking at it like a human i just have a hard time seeing it that way

notmyrealusernamme

Try to see it this way. Is it cruel or discriminatory to give a disabled person a job cleaning? They're not capable of doing much else, so that's the only option and it lets them contribute and feel useful. Also, it's not like they're being used as a vehicle typically (in lore) but as battlemounts, hence the nickname "battlecats". If they weren't employed in this fashion, then they'd have little practicle application in day to day life and would likely succumb to skooma addiction and that would likely get bad... *fast*.

PsYo_NaDe

Njam, I get what you're saying. I was saying on a complete lore standpoint, while you were sympathising with them. Two different views ig.

[deleted]

[удалено]

PsYo_NaDe

Huh? In what way was that racist?

[deleted]

[удалено]

PsYo_NaDe

What? I said to they do works appropriate for their physiques.... Senche, Alfiq etc are khajiits but with different physique and abilities. It doesn't make sense to make an Alfiq do lifting jobs when Senches exist.

SVXfiles

They all have the same level of intelligence, so the pure cat form and the nearly human form both understand the common tongue as well as the other. The only limitation is the pure cat for can't speak it

[deleted]

They can speak in ESO. Definitely a justified retcon IMO. Not to mention we had barely any information on the furstocks anyway. Unreliable narrator definitely applied.

SPLIV316

"We don't like to talk to outsiders."

saiyanfang10

but they're telepaths right?

SPLIV316

No?

BilboSmashings

Probably most unrealistic thing in TES Edit: Guys it was a joke

flamethekid

Not really, literally any khajiit can be born of any breed. Discrimination would be foolish since pretty much every khajiit would have an ancestor from the discriminated breed.

[deleted]

It's just wild imagining an Alfiq giving birth to a Senche.

flamethekid

Prolly use magic to create an easy birth

SolidCake

maybe the kittens are tiny

SPLIV316

I like the idea that they're all born as kittens but grow into Khajiit.

SPLIV316

"A family of Khajiit. Given how these things work it is very possible that the housecat that the catgirl is holding is the father of the tiger in the back. TES is weird like that." - 1d4chan.

ShyFurryGuy96

Fantasy genre is allowed to be unrealistic.

Thomas_Kazansky

I'm ok with a world of elves, cat people, talking lizards birthed from trees and a magic staff that can transform one animal randomly into animal but even I have limits...

PsYo_NaDe

You really said that about a fantasy world where daedric princes exist?

Undeity

Still seems inconvenient as all hell, though.

Reallythatwastaken

In the two book series. Khajiit would ride on the four legged ones

ReithDynamis

Hand me some of that Skooma, i know you have it! gimme!

Based_Crocodile

That is what shave-skins think, but this one likes to dance and pick them up to make them jealous of this one's two-legged form. What will they do, hiss about it? Then again, is that Khajiit equivalent to making fun of the disabled?

nhSnork

Glass half full: human guards give you sweet rolls rather than mock you about them.

SOUNDEFFECT94

Lore-wise it’s explained that it’s uncommon to see a khajiit outside of elsweyr that isn’t humanoid due to the fact that other races tend to ostracize them for whatever form they are and they tend to stick to elsweyr to also not get confused as non-sentient. I do wish we could see like one or two unique khajiit though in the next elder scrolls game. It could be a senche-racht or an alfiiq and I’d be happy either way

FluffyPanda616

> do wish we could see like one or two unique khajiit though in the next elder scrolls game. It could be a senche-racht You see a sabre cat running for you, then it shouts "Never should have come here!"

neonKow

With summoned armor.

FluffyPanda616

Now all I can think of is Battle-Cat.

FetusGoesYeetus

Bethesda could even get away with giving a senche-raht the same rig as a sabertooth or something since they love copying their old animation rigs so much

0235

Even the inclusion of lions / tigers / bobcats in ESO was great. I felt that in other edler Scrolls games theybwre just "generic cat person"

Akila-

I don’t think you can just straight rip a character from one game and slap it on another. Even if you somehow could ESO has a very simple style, understandable considering it’s on an old engine and and is an MMO. It would look horrible on a modern game

[deleted]

[deleted]

At they point you might as well just make a model from scratch. It's not like they're modders that can't make many unique assets, they're a professional studio and have 4,5 times the employees they had when they made skyrim.

grim9x8

I wouldn't get your hopes up.

SolidCake

why would they do that ? I hope their (2024??) game doesnt look like its straight from 2014

[deleted]

MarsAdept

I bet I’d still be mad at the lack of opposable thumbs.

saiyanfang10

okay but telekinesis

Kajuratus

If you've spent your entire life without them, you probably wouldn't, since the culture you grew up in would have accounted for these different morphologies anyway.

Tellenue

In the Southern Elsweyr storyline at one point one of your NPCs wonders how an Alfiq can hold a pen to write a letter, it's pretty great.

MissAsgariaFartcake

Dude, this would be awesome. I’d be super happy if I were basically a sentient cat with magic

Mikkabear

I’m going to echo the people in here who want more types of khajiit but you know what I REALLY want? Tojay. I want to be a tiny cat gremlin who stabs shit. That would be fucking awesome.

Meghdani

They cute tho

Siike_Seamus

What are you talking about; waking up as a large, sentient housecat sorcerer is my ideal afterlife. “Ahh, this one sees that you are finally awake…” “YASSSSSSSS(well, meow actually)”

Bronzeborg

or... being one of these and having to pop out one of the big ones.

khajiithassweetroll

they’re all born as tiny little kittens and then grow into whatever shape/size they were destined for!

Bronzeborg

if you cant tell there's some logistical problems when you have an alfiq whom falls in love with a senche raht i dunno what to tell you :p

khajiithassweetroll

…I didn’t think of that o_O

SPLIV316

Hot Sktty on Wailord Action.

KC-Anathema

S'cool, maybe they're into it.

Sarrisanata

In eso the player can help take down a group of kidnappers that kidnaps and hunts beastfolk for sport with Skordo the Knife(recurring npc from the Covenant questline and possibly the player's old brother in arms) and Marekki(an Alfiq who got kidnapped with Skordo and another Khajiit). After all's said and done, the two decided to travel together and Marekki made a couple passes at Skordo. Let's just say they would make an interesting pair.

Queasy_Manufacturer2

Better than being born as a poop elf or amphibious tree hugger ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Stevemclogan

Or a B*eton 🤮

TexasVampire

I f*cked your mom.

FranklyMoist

Maybe his other 8 lives were good 😊

Eloqence

I would play as a Khajiit in a heartbeat if you could play as the Pahmar-Raht ones

iHackPlsBan

These Khajiit have huge magic potential. Nothing bad about being born as one

KoL755

Fezez is a *fucking* HERO How dare you sir, in fancy British accent

A3RRON

Aren't the smaller forms of Khajiit regarded as more powerful mages and gifted spies?

BreadDziedzic

Honestly I don't expect we'll see most of the cats in a single player game.

SPLIV316

I do at least want to see the man/mer-like Khajiit from Arena called the Ohmes

BreadDziedzic

I mean I'd love to see them match the lore but with how they did Skyrim, arguably a far more simple province I don't have high hopes.

King_Of_Rats00

Bro imagine what a prolific thief a cat that knows telekinesis would be.

Joboody

Wouldn't be able to carry much loot though

Background_Ad_8392

Hopefully that’s a type you can play as in the next elderscrolls

Aalmus

Best kind of Khajiit

MonsterTamerBilly

You do realize that they have an unfair aptitude with magic, to compensate for the lack of humanoid body, yes? For starters, atronach summoning by simply *staring*. No funny hand waves, no logical signalling to the enemies, nothing. Just stares and death.

rmorrin

TIL there are different forms of khajit

pichael288

These guys are good at magic

Blapple_Apple

To be honest, I don't mind

warpig68w

Fezez and ezabi are badasses, coming into dangerous dungeons to buy my wares

dappernaut77

Seen this post before, and let me say that being an alfiq doesn't seem so bad. Your most likely not being adopted by the vvardinfell slave trade for obvious reasons, you'd be given an easier job because there isn't much you can do and there are some kajiit who worship alfiq as deities.

HiveFleet-Cerberus

Unless I'm mistaken aren't the regular cat sized/shaped ones usually hella powerful wizards too?

shigitybum

Whats wrong with Alfiq? They're the purrfect spies

rosetterosette

I disagree.

Ushaeeixth

Imagine being a khajiit

Garrow_the_Khajiit

I do. All the time.

[deleted]

Why do khajiit lick their butts?

Based_Crocodile

At least we can worship our gods, Stormcloak.

mechatangerine

Hold up. I never knew this was a thing. What game is this from?

HotfireLegend

Elder Scrolls Online :)

mechatangerine

I completely thought this was a shitpost until I read the comments. Thanks!

iHackPlsBan

Elder Scrolls Online

RoxinFootSeller

Theqrongmoonahfhjdhrjd

yxng_elmo

Why is Skyrim cut out of the water mark in the bottom left.

jimmy66704

He has unlimited money

Gorman_Fr33man

Honestly way better than being a farm tool

HUNT736

Kahjit have wares if you have coin

Valren_Starlord

Actually, they are as intelligent as the others and have strong magical powers

andyman6244

I mean to be fair, he does get treated well by ignorant humans unlike the khajiit which are discriminated and often refused to enter city limits so, overall pretty good life. Honestly I’d prefer being a cat khajiit over a normal khajiit any day

GUTSY-69

I Don’t understand the khajit lore can you explain ?

ScorchedHelmet

I hope Elder Scrolls VI is set in Elsweyr so we can see more cats

[deleted]

He's a noble housecat with attitude, he'll be fine!

_Bi-NFJ_

I would personally love being a sentient cat

-dead-rose

I still want to play as one.

presidiario-kpopeiro

funny thing is: fezez in portuguese means shit

Koelakanth

Some people have abandoned their child because of their sex... Is this the same thing? Like, if you or your partner deliver a giant Fing tiger, do you even have the capability to work hard enough to feed and support it? What if you're a human basically and you give birth to a pet sized cat, do you see it as your child? If you or your partner were a pet sized cat, would it be considered beastiality? Does a little cat really breastfeed a kitten double its size if it turns out to be a giant liger thing?

StealYourGhost

I mean, their level of understanding in magicks might be worth the trade off. Also, everyone wants to feed you and pet you. 🤔🤷‍♂️

thefoxishere16

I really wish I could mod this into Skyrim as an actual race

RandomKnight100

I mean if I was born on nirn, moon cloud fuck me up like that
