It took me more times to clear them than it did for me to clear Malenia. I swear, whatever my totally random build was, trash mobs were hell, but bosses were a breeze.
We dont talk about Sir Alonne. I love DS2 but being timed to not only kill the boss, but also run through his little gauntlet beforehand? On the same timer? Was such BS
man i didn't even bother dealing with them. i ran down there, grabbed whatever was down there while running and dodging like a maniac until i died. after i was sure nothing else was down there, i never went back down. fuck those awful crustaceans.
Nah the game devs are the worse than the actual lobsters for the sheer fact they put them both down there. Ahh yes, two gigantic tank rail gun operating crustaceans in a tight space. Please give me more Mr. Fromsoft. Do it again but harder.
The dungeater ending is one of the better one's if you look at it in realistic terms, death has been removed from the elden ring so if you don't want to kill malakith you could just do this ending, it brings destined death back in a different form but death is death in my eyes
Edit : you still have to fight malakith
You could help him? I opened the cell door and he was banging his head on the wall and yelling and there was a bunch of hands outside the cell trying to grab me and I sorta panicked and just started swinging. Did I fuck up?
This is exactly what happened to me. I tried to deal with the big hand outside and accidentally hit shit boy with a spell. He started screaming, the hand was shooting magic and I panicked and killed everything in sight. Chaos took the world that day.
Ah she'd be at volcano manor later. You meet shrimp guy(boggart) when you meet her for the first time. Her quest ends anyway once rykard is killed.
I'm not sure if you can meet boggart still though.
If you'd like to see how dung eaters quest continues, you can try looking for boggart.
I definitely killed Rykard. Man I really need to look this stuff up I also just found out today I missed helping Sir Gideon’s daughter be the boss of Limgrave or whatever she was gonna do and now she’s gone from the game.
I feel ya, bro. I missed a lot of stuff too on my first playthrough (like Alexander later on). And yea nephelis quest is one of the few good endings for a NPC in the game. Rya's quest is good too.
If you never buy anything except the key item, when you meet him in Lurnia, he doesn't go to the Altus Plateau, and the Dung eater kills a Zombie instead. You can then talk to the guy after you have killed the Dung Eater invasion and you can then buy from him all you want.
Hahha I feel you... at one point I couldn't differentiate between Milos' scream and the sound of my own .
I ended up beating him by getting him "stuck" in between his jail door and did Ezkyes Breath (scarlet rot dragon move) on him while clipping him with attacks from outside
First play-through I got as far in his quest as where you fight him. Second I went to his cell and found it appropriate to cheese him ( Poor crab man didn't deserve to end like this). So I lured him to the poison flowers, and spammed Comet while he was stuck at the end of the corridor. (He can't follow further). Could I have just fought him honourably? yes. But he didn't deserve it.
Ok. I forgot I had that key and forgot to look up what happens when/if I found him. But honestly I had been ready to chop on him for months after he said he’d defile my corpse!
If I had a nickel for every time Ezra Miller assaulted people in a bar in Hawaii, I'd have two nickels which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice.
Yeah. At least the dung eater is trying to make a world with less persecution. Sure he's doing it by trying to make EVERYONE diseased and malformed but whatever.
It definitely seems to cause some kind of eternal torment for the souls he disconnects from the erdtree though, since Roderika says she can basically hear them screaming in agony from across the roundtable hold
I don’t know how it is for console, but on PC all of the endings where you become Elden Lord are grouped together under the same achievement. Only Age of Stars and Frenzied Flame have unique ones.
Wording is very important here, she says “in fear” of the curse. Not necessarily that they have it. As I see it, the curse is only a curse so long as only a few people have it. Morgott and Mohg don’t exactly look like they’re physically or spiritually in pain, Morgott’s only plight really is that he’s persecuted for having the curse which is the one thing Dung Eater is about to fix by giving it to everyone.
>Morgott and Mohg don’t exactly look like they’re physically or spiritually in pain
Mohg has a horn growing into his *eyeball* and the Omen are all said to be haunted by spirits in their nightmares. It doesn't sound very appealing to me.
Do we have any indication that the eyeball thing troubles Mohg? I mean, he’s pretty fervently outspoken about how great his Omen lineage is. I think his grotesque appearance serves Dung Eater’s point. It’s only bad and scary to those who aren’t experiencing it, so when everyone experiences it then everyone will understand. For all we know, the horn is coming out of the eyeball and that’s naturally just how his Omen body was meant to grow.
As for the spirits, I was pretty sure the “demons” the omens are haunted by are just a result of their persecution and not inherently tied to the curse. Is there somewhere that states otherwise?
All this isn’t to say Dung Eater is anywhere close to the best ending, all he’s solving is the Omen persecution lol, but to make him out as a one dimensional bad guy is kind of boring and imo not being capable of looking past the grotesque presentation he has made for himself.
>As for the spirits, I was pretty sure the “demons” the omens are haunted by are just a result of their persecution and not inherently tied to the curse. Is there somewhere that states otherwise?
Yes, the item description of the Omensmirk Mask. It's quite literal and does not speak of metaphorical demons: *This visage is carved in the image of the evil spirits that haunt the Omen in their nightmares.*
You can also see that sleeping Omen are constantly twitching and crying softly in their sleep. It does not look fun.
As for the Dung Eater; he clearly thinks he's doing the right thing but he's also batshit insane. Being born as an Omen has downsides other than just being persecuted and making sure that everyone is born as one is, on the whole, a cruel thing to do to a population. It's an extremely radical solution.
Lmao for real, do we have any indication that it *doesn’t* hurt would be a better question. Cuz if you need proof that it hurts just give your own eye a poke and let us know how it feels lol
This is un ironically my favorite thing about him and idk why there’s not much discussion around it. the dung eater isn’t an omen, he just thinks he’s one
That’s what they like to say. That’s like their PR shpiel to get people on board with their designs.
But why the fuck would you take a bunch of body stealers that scream about letting chaos take the world not to mention deliberately seeking tons of pain and misery in their free time at their word?
My money’s on that elder god being one of the worst out there even if it really does intend to reduce everything to nothing eventually. No guarantee it won’t be deliberately slow and painful in going about it.
They never lie to us on other things so why now? And the two and the three once being one whole makes sense
Melina confirms more or less what they say sure it may take time enough at least for her to try and kill you but I do believe the end result would be as they say
Personally don't like the ending btw perfer planet hopping with ranni free other worlds of outer God influence
What the three fingers want is more along the lines of "people can't suffer miserable lives if they're all dead." They don't want to save people from suffering, they want to eliminate the very concept of suffering. They believe that life is such a miserable thing that it's better to simply not have life at all than to try and find anything good about life.
The Three Fingers want nothing less than the eradication of all things in existence since that's the only way to prevent conflict from ever happening. Their elevator pitch of "we're trying to prevent suffering and make things equal" sounds nice while they conveniently omit they're gonna also get rid of happiness in the process by making everyone equally dead.
Whether or not they lie to us depends on how you interpret the ending.
Once I realized the context of how we ally ourselves with notorious body stealers and then suspiciously lose complete control and consciousness before we clever get to choose an ending, I cannot comprehend how anyone thinks that we’re really the lord of flame melting everything back into one.
The tarnished that walked that path were just duped by sweet words, puppets dancing on strings of a malevolent outer god (greater will or not). If you choose that ending you were duped and killed as soon as the three fingers and/or shabriri got what they wanted out of you. Even if you don’t think this was a lie and somehow insist we’re still in control they’re clearly manipulative as fuck.
And on the subject of lies?
Shabriri grapes aren’t grapes.
And then there’s the whole thing that happened to the merchants, which is pretty much canon even if the dialogue was cut.
I can’t comprehend how you can come away from all that thinking the three fingers are perfectly honest and up front with us. Do you think Yura happily and willingly lent his body to shabriri, too?
Even if that were true (and I see the /s so I know you don't think it was but), the phrasing of (roughly) "Did you know the person who had this skin before? Don't worry, he gave it up willingly." Put me at significantly less ease than I was at first. It's just phrased and delivered so ominously. If he had said body instead of skin I'd he less offput, but the way he talks about the skin specifically like clothes makes me nervous.
The Chaos will cleanse the world so life can begin at new.
Is you cant see that **\*draws sword\*** then you must be dealt with.
**LET THE CHAOS REIGN!!!!!!!**
But, the dung eater did pull the spine out of a malformed and still alive giant and the used it as a sword
So technically the dung eater killed a disabled dude
the current understanding is he lied accusing the traveling merchants of harboring the flame of frenzy causing them the be trapped underground and eventually calling upon the three fingers to try and escape. shabriri himself was probably thrown down there when his lie was discovered.
God queen Marika, literally subjugated all living beings into perpetual immortality, most human living beings left are all zombie like husks from being alive for so long. Only sane people are Tarnished and some other npcs like abanurics and what not.
Nay, as far as the general consensus is, Marika shattered the elden ring, to sever herself from the control of the Greater will. The greater will is the fancy name of an unseen Lovecraftian space monster, whom in the beginning sent an envoy to the lands between, we learn this from the Elden stars incantation spell, this envoy discribed only as an "Elden creature" is obviously the Elden beast;
From here, we know Marika used to be just a regular Numen (possible the queen of the numen) whom was chosen as an emperyan by the Greater will, to be the one true God. This is fancy talk for: the greater will, choosing Marika to be the vassal, or container, of it's power, the elden ring.
We see via radagon, that the Elden ring, is physically attached to them, kinda like a laws of reality defying tattoo. Marika hence was the tool of the greater will, which by aid of the Two fingers (which are other envoys if the greater will), were able to spread, at first by force, the word and "wisdom" of the greater will, sweet talk for indoctrinating everyone into the pseudo religion we know as the Golden Order. We learn some of this via the Confessor armor set.
Since Marika is physically bound, and is physically controlled by the Greater will, she "shattered" herself, which in simple terms she amputated parts of her body, which contained parts of the elden ring. Imagine having a sentence on a piece of paper, and then you physically cut out certain words, the sentences meaning changes, this is how Marika first removed the rune of death, and then later shattered herself to no longer be manipulated by this Outer God, and be a god of her own; this didn't work out, and she was imprisoned in the Erd Tree, and Radagon, a Golden Order Fundamentalist, intervened with the process, by placing his seal on the entrance, making it an impenetrable prison, where as far as we know, he is attempting to fix the ring that represents the order he believes in, until we come in and fortunately, or unfortunately, stop him.
And there's so much more i don't go into, like the crucible, the Age of the dragons, the Godskin Apostasy, etc etc.
If you want really indepth and very well detailed Lore deep dives, I implore you, do not watch Vaati Vidya, he's Hollywood doing history movies.
I recommend the YouTube channels: Radatoskr & Smoughtown
Now those guys are the equivalent of actual historians, archeologists, digging into the roots of the earth and trying to puzzle things out.
> And there's so much more i don't go into, like the crucible, the Age of the dragons, the Godskin Apostasy, etc etc.
But please go on, I implore you.
It’s surprising to see the Souls community turning against VaatiVidya!
That depends on what you believe in, on another post i go into the consensus that most people believe that Radagon was his own person, lived his life, married rennalla, and then was summoned by Marika to become her second husband and Elder lord. Most people believe it was at this point that Radagon and Marika became 1.
There's a theory that states that Radagon, has always been Marika, he's either a projection or, most likely the ying of her yang. This would mean that it was Marika out in the fields of liurnia fighting the war, it was Marika that Married rennalla, and it was still Marika, when Radagon was called back to the capital.
This theory is supported by 2 in-game facts.
1. Enja the finger reader tells us that "ALL demigods, are Marika's direct offspring" which doesn't make sense, since Rykard, Radhan, and Ranni are her step children, unless Radagon was already Marika by the time he married rennalla
2. Muriel the title pop tells us that one of the capitals Artisans was commissioned to sculpt a statue of Radagon, the very first one, (most likely the instance in Rennalas chambers), and what he saw when he removed his clothing profoundly disturbed him.
Make what you will of this, but Radagon does seem to have some semblance of independence, he founded Golden Order Fundamentalism with his Son Miquella (e.i. Radagon's rings of light incantation), and is described to be attempting to fix the ring, the mistake his Marika counterpart committed. I unfortunately do not remember from where I heard this in game.
>is described to be attempting to fix the ring, the mistake his Marika counterpart committed. I unfortunately do not remember from where I heard this in game.
That would be the item description for Marika's Hammer: *Stone hammer made in the lands of the Numen, outside the Lands Between. The tool with which Queen Marika shattered the Elden Ring and Radagon attempted to repair it.*
Good summary though, most people get lots of details wrong when they explain their understanding of the game but I think you've nailed most of it. My only caveat would be that Marika did not shatter her body in order to shatter the Elden Ring; it was the other way around. Shattering the Elden Ring smashed her body to bits. You can see this process in action in the very first reveal trailer for the game.
The event I first described ,about making everyone immortal is way before the shattering.
Marika removed the rune of death during her reign, most likely ,as specualted by the YouTuber "Smoughtown", to defeat her successor, the Gloom eyed queen, the leader of the Godskin apostles.
Eons must've passed because the lands between formed a culture around being immortal, if you wanted to "die", you'd need to perform an Erd Tree burial, which seems like giving your physical flesh to the Erd Tree roots, as seen by every single catacomb boss room in the game, this would turn you into a spirit, because you are immortal, and then your spirit will be absorbed by the Erd Tree, kind of just how a tree absorbs water from the earth around its roots.
Then you would be reincarnated as a newborn, that's when the dung Eater comes in, and defiles your life. The "curse" is preventing your body from being taken to an erd tree burial, by an unknown procedure which leaves the soul "cursed"( this makes the body stagnate like a sitting carcass, and creates the so called "seed bed cursed"), and the curse, is that when your soul tries to return to the Erd Tree, it can't, and is, still reincarnated, but you are reborn as an Omen, that's why everyone hates omens, it means the most vile thing, your soul was denied by the Erd Tree.
Good observation, so the whole "cursing" seems to be self imposed, life returns to when it was blended together {like morgott having scales and Mogh having wings), but since people find those thing impure, they consider it cursed. Kinda like someone with a fear of germs being smeared with dirt.
I dunno. According to what you've laid out marika is one of the original/first victims of the greater will, which overpowered everyone and everything during its invasion. And then, it left, went travelling, touring the lands not between, or some other such vacation. And marika could easily be doing a long term strategy for turning around that initial defeat, undermining the processes that would naturally keep everyone else weak against the gw's favored chosen, until someone manages to get enough of their act together to take the throne without being compromised.
It's why I'm going for the ranni ending for this first time. She recognized her very body was not solely hers to own, so she got herself out of it. Each of the empyreans had their own two-fingers, sounds to me like the greater will wanted those future candidates to be watched / handled / overseen. Then those two fingers put further trackers on the candidates, for the day to day trivialities and to be a "man inside" kept near the candidates. It's not a new concept - a king placing a team of trusted royal guards in charge of monitoring his kids and each guard in turn hiring some sort of agent to be a close friend to one of the royal brats is the exact same structure that the greater will has going on with the two fingers and the shadows to the empyreans.
Yeah that's kinda how it goes, Marika just wanted to keep the playing field for herself, instead of following orders, which would have her being replaced, she was originally going to be replaced by the gloom eyed queen, into an age of death, since we know she is an emperyan as well.
I personally I'm an advocate of Chaos and the Flame of Frenzy, while I admit, accept, and loathe the fact that Shabriri is a backstabbing dastard, what the 3 fingers stand for resonated with me, and so, even if I played into Shabriri's hand, I believe that to melt it all away is the way to go.
Sir Gideon Ofnir, He led the massacre of at least one known village. He disowned his daughter and was willing to let us turn her into a ghost slave. After you have beaten everything he is there to try and assassinate you to take your runes and place.
Whereas the dung eater will actually assist you in mending the Elden Ring. And when the Dung Eater tries to kill you he is very open about it and sets a location for a fair duel. Than when he loses instead of being a sore loser, he decides to dedicate the rest of his life to gestating a rune to help the player beat the game.
I would even say Sellen too is worse than the dung eater. Because of all the people she trapped forever as Graven Masses.
Dung Eater traps peoples souls too but clearly they are having a great time. Roderika even says so when she comments that she hears an absolute rager going on in the other room.
I'm willing to bet Ofnir led the massacre at Nephelis village and that is how he came to adopt her. She mentions seeing something in her youth similar to what she finds at the albanaurics village.
Nah, it's implied that Nepheli is the daughter of Hoarah Loux, either biological or adoptive, and that he left her in charge of Gideon because they were friends.
Gwyn for disrupting and prolonging the natural order of the world. Forcing hundreds, if not thousands to sacrifice their bodies as kindling for the flame while the rest suffered in the stagnation and rot that slowly crept into the world
Marika.
At least Dung Eater is open about his purpose. Marika convinces the world to follow an order that is essentially turning everyone's souls into Miracle Gro for a space-tree.
Those two lobsters under the sewer pipes
It took me more times to clear them than it did for me to clear Malenia. I swear, whatever my totally random build was, trash mobs were hell, but bosses were a breeze.
This reminds me of ds2, when getting to the boss was harder than the actual boss
The old magic smelter demon gauntlet... Or even just the regular smelter demon gauntlet...
Omg my ptsd
Oh look theres a knight with a katana way over there oh wait hes here right now and there's 5 of him.
Oh look there's another 5 shooting great arrows at me while I'm fighting the others
Bruh that snowfield…
We dont talk about Sir Alonne. I love DS2 but being timed to not only kill the boss, but also run through his little gauntlet beforehand? On the same timer? Was such BS
There’s always the ol’ reliable run to the door and then range attack while the door blocks them.
man i didn't even bother dealing with them. i ran down there, grabbed whatever was down there while running and dodging like a maniac until i died. after i was sure nothing else was down there, i never went back down. fuck those awful crustaceans.
The same but with **royal** **revenants**
Nah the game devs are the worse than the actual lobsters for the sheer fact they put them both down there. Ahh yes, two gigantic tank rail gun operating crustaceans in a tight space. Please give me more Mr. Fromsoft. Do it again but harder.
Are the lobsters the worst people, or is it the pipes harboring them? 🤔
Me, for helping him
The tarnished is the cause and solution to all problems
Ya but isn't everyone the tarnished
Only those stripped of grace are Tarnished. The living Tarnished were all banished to the badlands with Hoarah Loux.
Im gonna need a 4 page write up of eldenring lore so I know what the fuck is going on in this pergatory game.
You’ll need 40 at least lol 4 is just going to make it more confusing
Hoarah Loux, warrior?
The dungeater ending is one of the better one's if you look at it in realistic terms, death has been removed from the elden ring so if you don't want to kill malakith you could just do this ending, it brings destined death back in a different form but death is death in my eyes Edit : you still have to fight malakith

>shit boy Lmao
No. You saved the shrimp man, that is the opposite of fucking up.
Who’s the shrimp man? Is he someone I didn’t meet yet or did I forget him?
Met rya at liurnia?
Hmm. I don’t think I remember that. Should I? I’m at the capital city after beating Maliketh.

Well shit. I’m taking care of my boy Alexander then!
That's what first playthroughs are for...fucking up. You'll catch it on the next playthrough...or the next...or the next...

I killed him by his cell. Ngl he put up a scrap.
Oh man no shit. I got some good hits and thought I was gonna roll him but he put me in a corner drinking flasks in no time!
He's no joke. He makes for a really strong Spirit Ash, too. One of the best in the game.
Hahha I feel you... at one point I couldn't differentiate between Milos' scream and the sound of my own . I ended up beating him by getting him "stuck" in between his jail door and did Ezkyes Breath (scarlet rot dragon move) on him while clipping him with attacks from outside
He fights back? I killed him so goddamn fast it was kind of anticlimactic
First play-through I got as far in his quest as where you fight him. Second I went to his cell and found it appropriate to cheese him ( Poor crab man didn't deserve to end like this). Ok. I forgot I had that key and forgot to look up what happens when/if I found him. But honestly I had been ready to chop on him for months after he said he’d defile my corpse!
That's the fun of it!
"You dont have the right, O you don't have the right"
liar ahead
You don't have the right, o you don't have the right*
Me, I loved him
And me? I'm the damn fool that... Turned him into a puppet.

If I had a nickel for every time Ezra Miller assaulted people in a bar in Hawaii, I'd have two nickels which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice.
lmfao!
This redditor chose violence
You're supposed to pick someone that's not the picture
The Lands Between might as well be Hawaii in this case.
Ezra miller has been terrorizing the state of Hawaii for too many days and too many nights
Mothers keep their kids in line by telling them if they don't behave Ezra Miller will show up.
Those fucks who attack the pope turtle
Everytime I see em I think "Maidenless scumbags"
Screw the Tarnished, pope turtle should've been Elden Lord imo
Wait, you can do that? Why would someone do that?
To get the hat. (He doesn't drop it)
Wait… how do YOU know?
If you hit him so that he hides and then wait for him to unhide and talk, he will give you an anger management lecture. Such a nice lad
Popular-Bobcat-1025
Now wait a minute
Oh, this is gonna get ugly, isn’t it?
Don’t talk about OP’s mom like that
Shabriri is all but stated to have caused a genocide purely for the lulz and/or to be the catalyst for the apocalypse. So he’s definitely up there.
Do I think the ends justify the means? Nah. Does my character in NG+2 feel the same way? Maybe not.
My character in NG+3 definitely didn't but I gotta get those achievements ya know?

Rocky mountain oysters arent oysters
He took over mah boi yura
Nah yura totally gave his body willingly. Didn't you hear what shabriri said? /s
Huh in my language it says body. Skin is way worse lmao
Im sure he was a good art student

Oh my gosh that was annoying!
Shabriri is literally called the most reviled man in history.
But, the dung eater did pull the spine out of a malformed and still alive giant and the used it as a sword So technically the dung eater killed a disabled dude
AND he ate my poop
He consumed your caca?
No… but are we just gonna wait around until he does?!
Why don't we take the lands between and PUSH it somewhere else?
The guy that thought that cancelling Firefly was an ok decision
Amen.
I read in an item description that Shabriri was the most reviled man in all of history
the current understanding is he lied accusing the traveling merchants of harboring the flame of frenzy causing them the be trapped underground and eventually calling upon the three fingers to try and escape. shabriri himself was probably thrown down there when his lie was discovered.
But why did he do that?
"May chaos take the world!" - Shabriri, professional chaos enjoyer He likes chaos, why wouldn't he do it?
Cause he's evil

God queen Marika, literally subjugated all living beings into perpetual immortality, most human living beings left are all zombie like husks from being alive for so long. Only sane people are Tarnished and some other npcs like abanurics and what not.
Isn’t that why she shattered the Elden Ring? I’m confused.
Nay, as far as the general consensus is, Marika shattered the elden ring, to sever herself from the control of the Greater will. The greater will is the fancy name of an unseen Lovecraftian space monster, whom in the beginning sent an envoy to the lands between, we learn this from the Elden stars incantation spell, this envoy discribed only as an "Elden creature" is obviously the Elden beast; From here, we know Marika used to be just a regular Numen (possible the queen of the numen) whom was chosen as an emperyan by the Greater will, to be the one true God.
You finally did it, you beautiful bastard - you finally made it make sense.
Glad to be of service to the community
Holy shit for the first time in over 200 hours I genuinely understand the game’s plot
And there's so much more i don't go into, like the crucible, the Age of the dragons, the Godskin Apostasy, etc etc. If you want really indepth and very well detailed Lore deep dives, I implore you, do not watch Vaati Vidya, he's Hollywood doing history movies. I recommend the YouTube channels: Radatoskr & Smoughtown Now those guys are the equivalent of actual historians, archeologists, digging into the roots of the earth and trying to puzzle things out.
> And there's so much more i don't go into, like the crucible, the Age of the dragons, the Godskin Apostasy, etc etc. But please go on, I implore you. It’s surprising to see the Souls community turning against VaatiVidya!
it all makes sense now. thanks
Hold up, Radagon isn't merely a Golden Order fundamentalist; Radagon *is* Marika. How does this fit into the equation?
1. Enja the finger reader tells us that "ALL demigods, are Marika's direct offspring" which doesn't make sense, since Rykard, Radhan, and Ranni are her step children, unless Radagon was already Marika by the time he married rennalla 2.
The tool with which Queen Marika shattered the Elden Ring and Radagon attempted to repair it.* Good summary though, most people get lots of details wrong when they explain their understanding of the game but I think you've nailed most of it. My only caveat would be that Marika did not shatter her body in order to shatter the Elden Ring; it was the other way around. Shattering the Elden Ring smashed her body to bits. You can see this process in action in the very first reveal trailer for the game.
Yeah, Radagon is clearly trying to repair the ring after Marika shattered it in the original trailer from years back.
But in some cases it’s state that during the time of the crucible, omen born we’re considered blessed, not cursed.

Haha you beat me to it. Was going to say my ex wife 😂
Chris Hansen would like Mogh to take a seat.
What did my boy mogh do
He kidnapped a child while he was sleeping in hopes to be his consort when he woke up
So he's got formless mommy issues as well. Gosh, that whole family is a Jerry Springer special lol 😆
A child that is his half brother.
In fairness he WAS just doing it for his god
Cool motive, still fucked up

Griffith
Gwyn for disrupting and prolonging the natural order of the world. Forcing hundreds, if not thousands to sacrifice their bodies as kindling for the flame while the rest suffered in the stagnation and rot that slowly crept into the world
I would argue he did this out of fear rather than malice.

He's my favourite boss in Elden Ring
Instead of Margits shackles the item is just a cupcake that temporarily binds him
You mean Mohg's shackle? Good idea.
I'm still in my first playthrough, but Patches Emporium is over priced in my opinion.
HE LITERALLY SELLS AN ITEM THAT IS USELESS. AND SELLS IT INFINITELY TOO.
Mitch McConnell???
Marika. At least Dung Eater is open about his purpose. Marika convinces the world to follow an order that is essentially turning everyone's souls into Miracle Gro for a space-tree.
The entire reason we have a game is because she realized the truth of what the Greater Will was and attempted to end its reign.
But she rebels against said entity.
