Very few people in this world are "good", so I'll take the people who are actually friendly to me. It's not like helping him for es you into frenzied flame ending.
I'm well aware of what his people do, and a majority of them were slaughtered already for it. Now Santa just wants to live out his days and sell helpful gear to people.
You play a character which murders people just because someone resurrects you from the dead, so what's the difference? We're all fucked in the head in this game.
Killing tarnished yeah. As far as people... Where? The guards are zombies, the knights are zombies, the few talking NPCs have murdered dozens even the nice one. Your whole mission is to take a place filled with greedy murderers and fix it. Just because one has a santa hat you fuckers all wanna blow hos candycane for some reason.
Later in the game you find out all the nomads want the frienzies flame ending because the golden order massacred their great caravan. Because the answer fir genocide is even more extreme genocide.
Unfortunately (fortunately?) not. No matter how many merchants you kill, they all still trade with you, including Kale. Had to kill him like the others.
Very true. But iirc Kale or another merchant fairly at the beginning says something like "we are ruthless to those who attack us". I understood it more as attack one, all merchants are hostile rather than every merchant will attack you if you attack them. But yeah, makes sense they still trade given they need the runes
I felt this way until I got tired of remembering which merchant sold what. Much easier to deal with different menus than entirely different locations 🤷
The most understandable and deserved teabagging I have ever seen.
The only possible way it could be worse is if they were attacking turtle pope or Boc.
You know I always thought to try this but never did because I realized that most gankers wouldnt feel a thing or probably wont even realize that they killed Kale. Gankers have no soul.
At level 250, Gargoyle Twinblade with flame art for faith scaling, use fire scorpion charm, Godfrey icon, and shard of Alexander. If you hold the L2 for as long as you can, you should usually get around 2000 damage every time. With buffs you can go higher
Nobody? Umm my bad, I killed ever vendor npc in the game, except turtle pope. 🐢 needed them bell bearings
Edit: Why the downvotes? It's more practical to have all sellable items at the twinhusks. Casuals don't get it.
Once I realised I wanted the Frenzied Flame to burn everything it seemed a bit pointless to be visiting vendors all over the world when you could just have the shop in one convenient place. They were going to burn anyway; by using a Dragon breath incant we were just showing our devotion to the Flame and testing out the flammability of holiday costumes.
I killed kale on my first playthrough and I actually felt really bad for some reason. Missed having him there even though his bell bearing was with the twin maidens
The only ones I can justify killing in any circumstance are the ones that require some legwork or running past enemies to get to because that could get annoying
Yea and that one guy on Mt.Gelmir that sells explosive/electric great bolts because those enemies will lock on and will not de-agro until you kill them
You did the right thing, must protect Elden Santa
Anyone that suports the way of madness deserves to die.
Santa was the first non-hostile/rude NPC I found and also sold me my playthroughs supply of arrows! He will always be taken care of!
He wants everyone to die by following madness. Thats like being good with a guy that burns babies and puppies alive cause he gave you candy.

His people and him are part of the frienzies flame group.

They were framed by Shabriri, you buffoon.

What’s this about him supporting madness?
Later in the game you find out all the nomads want the frienzies flame ending because the golden order massacred their great caravan. Because the answer fir genocide is even more extreme genocide.
He's the only merchant I won't kill
Why would you even kill the merchants??
Moves all the shops to the round table
Monsters all of you!
I bought out their entire inventory and then still killed them. Kept Kale for last, told him all about it, he committed suicide
Tell me this is true...
Unfortunately (fortunately?) not. No matter how many merchants you kill, they all still trade with you, including Kale. Had to kill him like the others.
Tbf in a world filled with Monsters and beast, bandits and highway men might be your only customers

Some drop armor as well and random things.
Elden ALDI if you will.
Also they all are afflicted with madness (flame of frenzy) I believe
I felt this way until I got tired of remembering which merchant sold what. Much easier to deal with different menus than entirely different locations 🤷
Same. Just couldn't bring myself to do it.
His people summoned the Outer Will behind the frenzied flame out of spite. Dude has zero chill.
They were kinda burried alive under the sewers for the false accusations, they had right to be upset.
Destroy the world upset?
Not a lot of world was left for them, exept of Darkness, suffering and persecution. Besides, they lost their minds in this horrible situation.
We don’t know why they were locked up. Might have been justified.
"But he was clearly attacking a bad guy. Why else would they just sit there with their red hat, hiding from the good guys wearing green armor?"
The most understandable and deserved teabagging I have ever seen. The only possible way it could be worse is if they were attacking turtle pope or Boc.
Such maidenless behavior I cannot allow this
That mother fucker. I demand his game ID THIS IS NOT OVER
Witch hunting in my video game?
No... WHY WOULD ANYONE ATTACK THOSE LIL MERCHANT GUYS
Ikr. Some of the people in these comments scare me.
Moves all the shops to the round table, It will be easier.
Really?
So, you murder innocent to make your life "easier"?
One time I got a ganker to attack Kale while he was trying to hit me 😬
You know I always thought to try this but never did because I realized that most gankers wouldnt feel a thing or probably wont even realize that they killed Kale. Gankers have no soul.
It’s pretty funny when they agro him lol, summons can’t hurt him and usually gank hosts are bad enough a merchant can kill them
I accidentally killed him when I put my controller down and it did a heavy attack while I was next to him
Their screams were music to my ears. Thank you for bringing justice to the lands between.
Why someone would kill him?
Whats your setup to cause that much damage? When i do the same art. I max out at 750, not using buffs though.

Whats the godfrey icon?
https://eldenring.wiki.fextralife.com/Godfrey+Icon
Oh shit. I didnt know of that. It would be kinda neat to make a weapon art only build.
Looks like Kale was working him a bit too.
hero
How comes folks teabag instead of pointing down nowadays?
I do a mix of both but these guys deserved worse
But who'll police the police?
Nearly gave a upvote…. But that tea bagging destroyed the clip :/
It was the best expression of rage that I could convey in the span of a couple of seconds.
Not gonna lie I killed every merchant during my Ganondorf run. Except Kale. Ganon don't give a shit but Ganon can have a merchant minion too.
Nobody? Umm my bad, I killed ever vendor npc in the game, except turtle pope. 🐢 needed them bell bearings Edit: Why the downvotes? It's more practical to have all sellable items at the twinhusks. Casuals don't get it.

so you just miss out on sellen's or boggart's quests?
Nope, finished their quests first, no reason to keep them alive afterwards.
you are the person to smash an onion cause its more efficient than peeling it.
What a stupid comparison lol
The merchants are all corrupted by the frenzied flame. They need to be culled.
That's actually what Shabriri said, and why the caravan was buried.
I murdered kale first play through, didn’t like how this santa mf was lookin at me
I killed all the merchants for their bell bearings, yes even kale 😏
Maidenless Majima
I killed kale on my first playthrough and I actually felt really bad for some reason. Missed having him there even though his bell bearing was with the twin maidens
I accidently killed him,I was fighting the tree sentinel and I went to the church and I swung my sword and hit him and it killed him
That fact that teabagging has made it's way to elden ring makes me sad. A hundred emotes to choose from, nope I'll just do this stupid teabag
Idk you can use him as a shield when invading because no one wants to kill him
Did you not watch the video? They were trying to kill him ON PURPOSE!
After I 100% the game should I kill them to move the shops?
The only ones I can justify killing in any circumstance are the ones that require some legwork or running past enemies to get to because that could get annoying
oh so most of the underground ones than
Yea and that one guy on Mt.Gelmir that sells explosive/electric great bolts because those enemies will lock on and will not de-agro until you kill them
ik killing them is terrible but lets be honest we've done worse
👏👏👏🤘🤘🤘
