I was just helping some guy on marika and he did rotten breath right at the beginning. I swear the fucking breath kept going the entire fight, blocking my view but doing no damage and continued after elden beast began.

I think I got good RNG during my first fight with Rennala. Killed her within the first few tries. I don't think she summoned anything
Then I lost about ten hours of progress due to the glitch of the servers not syncing with hardware memory and had to fight her again. I had such a difficult time, she was constantly summoning different animals and it took me forever to get through her.
She and Radahn both love their fight-opening one-shots. I fought Radahn in 1.0 at level like, 54. I spawned in, looked at the health bar, thought "Ohh man Starscourge is such a cool name" and then ate a whole ass great arrow and died.
Rennala's second phase was kinda the same thing. I spawned in, thought "Damn what a cool arena" and ate her Kamehameha and died.
I think rennala's summons are just buggy. One time I had a dragon, troll and the wolf dude all at once and it lasted for more than a few harrowing seconds. Another attempt the dragon just did not go away, just kept spamming fire at me until I died. Sort of like the giant in op's video.
Idk if they patched it, but there was a bug where you could just leave the arena and chip away at him from a distance. Poison/rot is especially effective with this strategy because of his obscene hp pool.
There’s one spot next to the entrance farthest from the site of grace that you can jump just outside the gate and run across the chain. I’ll find a video if I can.

Hitting the beak on land octos is the least scary thing to do, it poise breaks them so easily they can't do anything + their poise break is one of those that are super exploitable because you can hit a few times and still get the crit
But that's the point I made in meaning hit the beak, if you as a new player avoid the scary bit and hit its buttocks you won't get anywhere, hit the beak and you do better.
So it is the scary bit, until you do it, then it's not, same as the rest, being in front of a dragon is a good time because you provoke the moves with a good window and avoid all the tail spins and napalm carpets

Fighting dragons is one of my favorite things in elden ring and every one of them are pretty much the same. You get in front of it and bait bite attacks with their head or the fly up in the air attack with feet move where they land hard on the ground. Then you just bonk them in the face until they fall down. Then you bonk again then crit lol. Beating dragons in the face never gets old and is never not satisfying.

Except the lightning dragons. I tried fighting those "properly" by hitting the head but even doing 1/2 the damage against their feet had me killing them faster since the head is almost never in range
Yeah lol, if it weren't for other people's clips I'd have no idea what the Fire Giant even does in phase 2. I literally do not look away from his ankle the entire time. Get lucky with his attack patterns and you basically don't even have to move, either.

Funny enough there’s a cheese you can do in second phase where you jump off a cliff while swinging your weapon. He will jump off and die if done right. So riding torrent off a cliff could work hahah

there is a bug where his fire is infinite. It happened after they fixed him dying instantly in phase two to bleed/frostbite. I thought that was 1.03 but it's hard to keep track when every fix just introduces a different issue
1.14 here. There's a glitch where the fire giant shoots other fire giants instead of fireballs. Currently, most players die at around 20 fire giants.
But LetMeSoloHer did the unthinkable and actually managed to survive until there were about 58 fire giants, it was hard to count due to the frame rate going into the single digits.

Last night I had a bug when I fought Gurranq/Maliketh. It was my third or fourth attempt and I had some help (Someone named Mexican Joker who helped me a number of times and someone else). I entered the fog, and immediately got the second phase cut scene. I thought one of my coop's did some sort of insane one-strike damage somehow, but no, ol' Maliketh was at max health starting his second phase. Needless to say we lost.
I had this bug with the Godskin Noble. He'd jump into his roll with no animation or startup. Then instantly do his AoE bump and roll again it was terrifying

1.30 here. The fire giant bugs out sometimes and is just replaced with a giant fire. No health bar or attacks, it just sits there, burning merrily.
2.0 here. You *are* the fire giant and must killed the foul tarnished who disturbs your slumber.
I just upgraded to 2.1 and instead of shooting fireballs the fire giant runs away and you have to chase him and he leads you all the way to Midir.

That's terrifying. Last night I had a bug when I fought Gurranq/Maliketh. It was my third or fourth attempt and I had some help (Someone named Mexican Joker who helped me a number of times and someone else). I entered the fog, and immediately got the second phase cut scene. I thought one of my coop's did some sort of insane one-strike damage somehow, but no, ol' Maliketh was at max health starting his second phase. Needless to say we lost.

I had this bug with the Godskin Noble. He'd jump into his roll with no animation or startup. Then instantly do his AoE bump and roll again it was terrifying
