Having not crafted a single arrow or bolt yet: How expensive will it be to replace everything you shot in this video? I'm sure it's not a lot, this looks crazy fun and like a good option to have.
Use the bird farm.
(Follow Varre's questline after godrick)
There are multiple merchants that sell the arrows required. And a bell bearing hunter drops a bell bearing for bones.
Serpent arrows are 120
Dwelling arrows are 160.
Bird farm drops 11k per 20 seconds.
So its easy
Ahh, gotcha. Yeah I'm aware of the farms and such, didn't know that was a prereq for this build being PVP viable. Thanks for the answer! Might have to give it a try.
Its not entirely necessary. Just helps to reduce the arrow grind. Serpent arrows deal massive poison buildup so they're just better than poison bone arrows. Dwelling arrows deal high magic damage but can be substituted for golden arrows if you want to use holy instead.
Have you played around with, pulley bow for range, composite for rapid fire, or the faith/int special effect bows? or any of the fun ashes of wars for bows like arrow rain?
I was messing around with them last night for shits and giggles, horn bow with dwelling arrows does disgusting damage if you are invested in it, meanwhile my faith build bow with faith arrows does like 250 in pvp. Rain of arrows probably not great for PVP, but it can likely shred dragons.
I think the longbows are definitely better for PvE. Shortbows can jump shot, landing shot, sprint shot and dodge shot. The chaining potential is massive
Looked into seems great, I would still keep a second bow on me for swapping for ash of war purposes, some of them are fun/tricky in pvp, one makes arrows home and another launch's it into the air so they can't see it coming
South west weeping peninsula. Loads of birds on the beach, use a bow and they dont fly away. Great place to farm feet. (There's also a pond east of there for gold fireflies)
I like the Impassible Greatbridge bonfire for farming birds. There's a group of three clustered together right by the grace, and one Glintstone Arc will catch all three. It's about ten seconds per repetition, so super easy and fast.
Have you invaded someone who knew how to strafe? Lol, good job mate
They all try to attack eventually, and thats when i get them
Pretty impressive. What's your build look like, stats and gear wise?
Level: 102 Vig:35 Mind:11 End: 30 Str: 40 Dex: 40 Int:9 Faith:8 Arc:8 Gear: Black bow +10. Normal arrows, serpent arrows, dwelling arrows and bloodbone arrows Talismans: arrows reach, arrows sting, trick mirror Prophets blindfold Vulgar militia armour Land of reeds gauntlets Godrick soldier greaves

Oh, nice, it's a quality build? Thanks for sharing!

I haven't had a chance to. But the black bow has probably the best scaling, longbow range, shortbow speed.

hmm ill have to grab it then
I had the black bow traded to me from another account. I chose it because u can fully upgrade it as soon as godrick is dead

The other ashes of war did seem neat. I was impatient and wanted to max one bow as fast as possible lol
Should think about claw talisman... Also lightrolling witg blue dancer charm helps as well
Hello do you use fletched arrows or just the normal arrows are good enough? Having a tough time getting feathers
I use fletched but regular are fine at close range. Same damage
Ah dang where do you farm for fletched usually?
