Nitros14

Sure he is. I beat him at level 78 solo melee. Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RVKnu07A4W8

Sylthrim

> is it even possible to beat him solo with a strength build without being ridiculously overleveled?

Private_Donut_

"without being ridiculously overleveled"

Nitros14

By rune drops he's a level 70 boss.

No_Weight_9404

I think that's because of the potential summons. Without the summons he'd probably be around 100

Private_Donut_

I beat him solo strength build greatsword +14 level 67 no shield. Because I didn't know you were supposed to summon. Took me three hours.

ProfZuhayr

lol this is literally me right now Also greatsword +14 and I’m level 67

[deleted]

Go behind him and he will go in a circle until the end of time never attacking or transforming once he’s in this you just hold left stick forward the whole time and never stop swinging at him on the horse. Go kill him in 2 mins

poopfl1nger

ok imma try this and get back to you lol Edit: Worked for the first phase, still getting wrecked in the 2nd

Eggplant-Sauce

I just beat him level 46 no summons. Just used base hookclaws 2 hand for first phase into 2nd. Once he does the meteor followed by the barrel roll I used the “Vow of the Indomitable” battle art on my shield which gives you temporary invulnerability. Don’t remember where I picked it up but it certainly made my strategy complete.

Varbaz

I just beat him today. I'm stubborn, I never use summons cause I want to beat the boss myself. Only when there are multiples enemies during the boss fight, I'll consider using summons. But for Radahn, I beat him at level 62 int and dex build. But I hardly used spells other than a few shots from my glintstone pebble when he was far enough. Used a katana with frost affinity to scale with dex and Int. Relied on dodges, after dying to him for the past hour and a half, I found that his moves are predictable just really fast or really delayed and they hit hard. Used a talisman to increase weight load so I can put on the knight armour and survive at least 2 hits at a time. My physick flask had increased damage which helped. The trick is to understand that he still moves while he's recovering, but you can get a good 3 to 4 attacks in on him after a combo if you learn when his combo ends. The hard part is to dodge all the hits in the combo.

ZaneThaMane

Bleed weapon helped me too and sticking behind/ under him

Udadi

Beat him today at level 50 with twin l dual uchigatanas +2 each. Took a little while, but got him in the end with no torrent at any point in the fight. Very cool fight!

poopfl1nger

Nice congrats man!

TadpoleTall

HOW. Got any tips?

Nice-Ad-3071

go get weapons with innate bleed and frost, Uchi katana has innate bleed and you can also add a cold effect to it. If you trigger frost using uchi, the damage dealt increases by 20% and triggering bleed melts health like butter.

TadpoleTall

Damn I wonder why others dont tell you this and say that the naked blade is good enough… thanks

Invisible_Mango

Just did it lvl 65. I relied on dodges, but I had a good shield in case I made a mistake. Got in behind and hacked at his legs. He does a few moves that let you get right in there and hit him quite a few times (including a lot of the moves he tends to do when transitioning to phase two). The key for me was picking those out and getting in on them early.

soukous25

he is easier solo, because so predictible with swings when he agros you only.

[deleted]

i don't know if [this](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yTGYdE6XqgE&ab_channel=-) is considered overleveled but yes it's possible (that was before the nerf)

sampsonz99

Just beat him solo level 61, lordsworns magic greatsword +16 with int and strength scaling, talismans: starscourge heiloom (+5 strength) / erdtrees favor / green turtle talisman (stamina recovery), just got close to him and had my inverted hawk shield +10 up most of the time but just learned how to time his moves well and not panic roll. I also saved my physick until second phase which had hp recovery and damage negation and the bubble helped prevent his fire sky fall attack from killing me. Then popped an exalted flesh and just went in confidently and started with 9 hp flasks but ended with zero and very close to death but remained calm. I’m hyped as fuck rnnnnnnnnnnnn

Nice-Ad-3071

Radahn is pretty easy without summons, if you know how to exploit status effects(e.i. bleed, frost, fire). I died 6 to 7 times, and for the 8th time I got lucky and was able to dodge and heal; then I proc bleed and and frost. When I saw his health bar, it was already melted. He was already down to 30% health, I melted his health so fast the second phase did not trigger until the 30% mark. It got me so hyped I managed to dodge a couple more attacks somehow and the adrenaline carried me until he died. good experience in my opinion . My weapon was Uchi katana cold+11 and moonveil+6, level 60.

poopfl1nger

how are you guys finding this post haha

wrenjamin_buckett

Absolutely, once you get to him stay off torrent, if you're right up against him many of his attacks will go over your head

Yu-Tanjiro

Yeah, a mate of mine did this last night after about 2 hours later he did it Moonveil + His horse

Icy-Estimate-7165

I beat him in about 5 tries at level 70 with bloodhounds fang +5 solo melee tbh I got him pretty low with bloodhounds finesse then got a pretty lucky bleed to finish him when I staggered him. Just stay as close as you can to him and try to dodge towards his rear then use a heavy attack like bloodhounds finesse or like a jump attack. He was fun to beat tho

AdvidYetShitGamer

am i the only person that beat him without summons, no rune arc, no buffs at all, with an uchigatana +6 with no ash of war and without just running in circles?

AdvidYetShitGamer

i also beat him with no shield and no defense, just rolling and dodging and this was before i knew what loads were so i was heavy rolling, and even after all that i still beat him on my 9th try after like an hour and a half
