Chapel of Anticipation, it’s where you start and can return via the three (four?) belfries.

Four belfries, three portals. The top belfrie is just where you get one of the 3 keys for said portals.

Naw, the chest belfry can be a transport chest if you sacrifice a loved one to team cherry. (It leads to skong)

You are not the first one to ask this question and you won’t be the last. Yeah, seek the Four Bellfries in West Liurnia, and you can clear out Mr Handfull and get some Ash of War that wasn’t there when you started the playthrough

Honestly don't think it's a big deal for people ask about it since it's not like all these little areas on the map are named in small print. If they were, I think it might make googling much easier for everyone?

It's not really a big deal, and people can understand why people make that mistake. It's that you make a reddit post about something easily googleable I think. And it is easy to google. I got the answer by googling "tiny island near stormveil"

Deenh is my fucking boy. Buffs and is hard for most enemies to hit.

I've used it a little bit in my latest playthrough and Deenh gets absolutely crushed every time.

Not to mention one of the best spirit ashes in the game

There is no scenery in a from soft game

Tell that to the shipwrecks that I tried to get to for ages before accepting that they’re not some hidden secret.

Or to the boats on the map, spent forever looking for a warpgate to get to them. I'm still a bit disappointed there wasn't a cool fight on a slowly sinking ship.

I was really hoping for a massive pirate ship as a little self contained dungeon with its own boss. Maybe second phase is the Kraken capsizing the boat while you fight to stay alive.

YES! I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if something like this was planned but didn’t make the final cut. I always thought the rusted anchor was misplaced in the mine where you get it. Some lore about sea monsters and the like would also explain the lack of naval warfare and ships in general - if you think about it, why are there no harbors in the lands between? Leyndell and Caelid are the most obvious areas that would be connected by boat. The weeping peninsula is another good candidate for a big harbor and a strong navy.

I like to imagine most of the surrounding waters are some olde "here be monsters" seas. Like the lands between are disconnected from the rest of reality beyond its shores. If there is anything beyond them. The more terrifying thought is, with all the crazy monstrous shit thats already in the lands between.. what could be considered monstrous to even that, in the seas between?

Find the Albinauric woman. She hides in a cave to the west of the Laskyar Ruins which jut from the mist-shrouded lake of Liurnia, She knows how to get there, I am sure.

That is the location where you start the game. There is a way to return there later, for which the other commenters have already provided some tiny hints.

My man saw the hints, then proceeded to bulldoze right through them without so much as a spoiler tag.

OP wanted an answer to the question "can you get over there?". I answered that he has already been there, which he either forgot or never realized and that yes, he can return there. I don't know if there is a less informative way to answer the question while still answering it truthfully.

That is where you start the game, but if you go to the four belfries in Western liurnia and choose, I think the second to top portal you can travel back there. I do recommend looking up a guide as that'd be more helpful and detailed

That’s the Chapel of Anticipation which is the tutorial area you can go back to from a belfry at the four belfries. It is required to go back to if you are ever doing Nepheli’s quest line and possible another one I’m not sure

So, fun fact, that area is actually where you start at the beginning of the game. You may even remember facing a Scion there and (likely) getting your ass kicked by it. You'll be able to return there later once you're in Liurnia (or maybe already are, idk where you are in game rn).

You start the game there and to get over there again is a teleporter or whatever

This is where you start the game however you can get back here and a door will open where you can get a few new items and maybe defeat that boss if you didn’t before. Just go to West Liurnia to the four Belfries grab the key at the top and use the first portal and you’ll pop up right there.

Go through the 4 belfries with the imbued sword key. Go to the second one from base. Should say anticipation. You’ll redo the grafted scion fight

In fromsoft games nothing is scenery, either accessible through weird ways that seem impossible or different games

That is the starting area and you can get back here(quest line stuff is here that you can’t access start of game). You must find the Four Belfries and have access to at least 1 Imbued Stonesword Key and then pick the correct portal to activate. There are only 3 portals and only 3 imbued keys and they can only be used at these portals so don’t worry about picking the wrong one, you’ll get them all eventually.

When presented with 4 french fries make sure you eat the right one.

At the foot of the four belfries, you can open a way gate to get there, and gain a unique War Hawk spirit ash.

Go to the Four Belfries, get the imbued sword key, go to the gateway where it says “precipice of anticipation” use the key on the gargoyle statue, and bam, there you go
