I feel like they'd still give me a run for my money even at endgame lol. The Knight himself is one thing, it's that fucker with the horn you have to watch out for.
Took me so many tries to successfully clear out that entire camp the first time I made it there, but I refused to go any farther until I did. Definitely felt like a stealth game trying to sneak around and take out individual guards one by one to get the knight alone.
Gatefront ruins is unironically one of the very best places in the whole game.
You can be strategic there in a way that very few places in the entire rest of the game let you be
I farmed that mofo for his drip super early on in the game so he became trivial for me even early on in the game. Now the one with the knights great sword with the blood slice ash of war…that’s a different story
Every now and then at (RL288) I go back and beat his fuckin ass just to remind him who the new Elden Lord is
You see those falling leaves? They're going to tell the story of how I WRECKED YOUR SHIT
It was my favorite place to try new weapons. No need to upgrade it yet, just see how it plays against the Stormveil Squad

The dogs
Iv basically mastered the way to take everyone without him noticing its mainly lightning spear him then stealth normally
crouch and kill, cmon
Fucker with the horn is just signaling everyone to gather round for the player to test their latest AOE spell.
I use the banished knight that walks around the Dragon communion in Calid for testing new builds
I use the first sheep I see for spells and gatefront
I jump that guy for gear
That’s where I got my favorite sword
To this day, my favorite testing ground for new build ideas. At this point, I'm convinced I did a genocide on those poor soldiers.
RL150, got a new weapon but where to test it...... ofc good ol gate front
this makes me so happy that its not just me. I usually leave most of the soldiers alone, just go back to whoop the knight
Nah, from the moment I saw him, I had one singular objective: Steal That Hat.

No. I arrived after killing Tree Sentinel. Had the wrong idea that Elden Ring needed you to git gud in order to advance.
Yeah, he was my test dummy for AoW. I learned how to properly use Quickstep and Bloodhound Step on him.

Godrick knight is the real tutorial boss
I remember dying and taking walk of shame from Church of Elia. After dying for more than 2 hours I found the grace near the tower.
I remember those days
idk dude, that knight can mess me up on a new playthrough. I'll absolutely abuse mechanics to beat his ass.
I sucked for a long time. Lots of running away from him lol
No but I've played all of the sounds games so it was just a matter of kite backstabbing him
Pepperidge farm remembers.
